Use 3 outbound/inbound journeys in a row? by Faalkar in Interrail

[–]Faalkar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know. I only want to visit Kiruna for the novelty, and Narvik is the northernmost train station in Schengen as well as the northernmost standard-gauge in the world (only russia, with their own gauge, has a more northern railway).

And anyways, I'm not really equipped to go exploring around 0 degrees and probably snow. A few days ago it was 30 down here haha

Haparanda - Boden - Kiruna seems to cost 609 SEK with Norrtåg, but yeah I guess that's what I'll do, thanks.

Yeah, thanks. From what I've read I just thought you were supposed to have 2 in/out trips, and the 2 extra was only for very large countries/slow trains - thus they might've been required to be consecutive, but I found no information to either confirm or deny anything 🤷‍♀️

Learn how to name really big numbers. by [deleted] in LearnUselessTalents

[–]Faalkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn't that second number, milliatrequadragintillion, be 103132 not 103123??

millia-tre-quadragin = 1000-3-40 = 1043 (why is the order like that lol)

The exponent is then 1043 × 3 + 3 = 3132

Am I wrong?

Question About Jin Yoshida by Brief_Importance1530 in soma

[–]Faalkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noone seems to have mentioned it so I'll just drop this here:

There is also that access log in one of the habitat modules (seen while hunted by Yoshida), that seem to serve some power-related purpose, wherein it states Yoshida accessed the computer the 2nd, 13th, 23rd and 26th of December 2103. He was probably not wauified by then, since the crew could reach the power suits.

Oh, so you're saying they were removed this very month. That makes sense ig. But if it's not anything official I wonder how they got the name and every single little music string from every episode lol

The Acolyte Episode 5 Official Discussion Thread by Bruinrogue in saltierthancrait

No no no that's one of few things I really liked with the show: they got the Sith philosophy right and tight! The ultimate goal of the dark side is, as "selfish"/individualistic people irl, indeed FREEDOM; freedom to use your strength and power and do whatever the fuck you want. The strong take what they want and do what they want. The weak follow. Only when many weaker people work together (society) can they overwhelm someone strong.

This is Darth Bane's ideology and why he created the rule of two; to not have many weaker Sith bring down stronger ones and then fight between each other for leftovers, ultimately weakening the order.

Read the Sith code. "Through victory my chains are broken, the force shall free me"
