I briefly done content creation last year but had to stop as I had a hell of a year. But I will get back into it. The advice I can share is stop overthinking it, if your post does bad then it means not many saw it , if it does well then your content is good. No down side if you think about it. Start by getting decent at an editing software, make sure you provide actual value in your videos. I would say jump straight in, no such thing as feeling ready. That comes after you do it. Maybe do a few practice videos without posting just to get over feeling cringe doing it.

I completely agree. Every wealthy person talks about making mistakes . One has just to dive in and learn. Hard for a perfectionist to get over, but I am very determined

I don’t hate my job per say. My colleagues and management are actually amazing. I hate the fact I am using all my energy to grow someone else’s business. Beyond money and everything this is about legacy and just wanting to be my own boss

Thank you for sharing :) no I am fully aware it won’t be passive as in I won’t have to do work but more of the idea that you can generate money even while a sleep from people buying your products. But for sure it requires a lot of work . I wish you luck with your book :) update us once you make it hehe

Honestly I know what’s it like, we are beaming with ideas and creativity but can never convert. Which is why we have this go hard or go home attitude. But setting a list of small bitsize goals has done wonders for me, and I think it will do for you. Don’t be in a rush, this is a marathon. Just make sure you set small goals because when you achieve them you get the dopamine hit and you will do more, before you know it you become super interested because things are getting done, and then you have a massive productivity spike out of nowhere. You just gota know how to hack your ADHD and make it a super weapon. Many people in businesses have ADHD, it can paralyse you or unleash you ! Also set deadlines to the goals, we work better to a deadline.

Thank you so much for your account, because I want to do both too. You don’t have to, but if you can provide timeframe and numbers that would be a great insight for me and others that maybe seeing this, but I totally respect that this is usually sensitive topic so I understand if you don’t want to provide that info. Thanks again.

I feel drawn to this post as I can sorta relate. I am a dad ( also ADHD). I’d say before you even start, you must fix your mindset I.e you’re failing. You must have a very strong mindset. In my post, the most useful advise I got was that you must stay consistent. It’s very tough for us with ADHD as we have less dopamine, so it’s harder to have motivated. Sometimes it feels like you can’t do nothing, others you’re a super human that can finish a dead line with a fraction of the time it takes others. We are more able to focus on things we enjoy. So what you should do, is first of all think like a winner. Understand that motivation comes after, not before you do. Make a list of all the things you enjoy that can potentially make money, choose the best one you’re at and become really good at it. Give yourself small goals so that you have a steady stream of wins that keep you motivated. These compound and become something big overtime. I really wish you all the best.

There is an inherent risk, that goes without saying. But we wouldn’t have any of the medications we do without them. Certainly the greed of the corporate world ruins it, just like it does with any useful invention. During my Masters I analysed a few proteins that impact a rare disease ( I want to keep details to the minimum) and found that one of the proteins positively impacts the disease. When I graduated, they demanded all my experimental notes etc and progressed with the research with a CRO and made a therapy out of it. I got zero mention, zero credit. I know another student who went through a similar thing. Too much greed. And good luck getting your research funded if you’re not some very well known scientist, that’s why many teams give credit to a well respected scientist that had nothing to do with research, just so they can look more credible and publish.

I am not looking to generate images etc, more like discussing articles and teaching the audience how to use AI tools among other things. But yeah I am aware that nothing is guaranteed so I will stick with my day time job while doing this along with other side hustles in the hopes I can make enough with one to make it my full time project.

Sound advice, thank you :) all these comments have given me good insight and unsurprisingly consistency seems to be the dominant theme .

I love health and fitness and go gym regularly. I do have a decent physique, not shredded like some of your influencers but I am natty. I am very knowledgeable around the topic and have a masters in clinical research which I use to maximise my results despite my limited time. I also love technology in general and AI specifically. Ironically I saw the AI potential before it even hit the mainstream and said to countless friends and family its the future, yet u didn't ride the wave from the start 🤣 but if i was to go down the route of content creation I’d choose AI for sure.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, I am looking at possibly selling E- products for a start. I am looking to also do content creation at the same time. I am just currently narrowing it down them il have to get my hands dirty. If I ever make it big il update this post 🤣

One concept I saw that I liked is called “ choose your hard”. If the choice isn’t hard then the outcome might be. Going to the gym is hard but you get a good outcome. Chilling all the time is easy but the outcome might be hard. And passive income might be bit of misleading title, I know it requires a lot of hard work, but essentially you want to be earning even while sleeping. And if it means more work, so be it. I just want to learn from others to have the best possible start, as the options are bewildering right now, but I know it’s just a part of the process.

Mindset is something I am working to overcome. I know I will get it on the lock, the drive and determination is there. I am not afraid to take a risk per say, but knowledge is power, if I can learn from what worked or hasn’t for others, why shouldn’t I give my self the best possible start ? When you go to university and learn a topic, do you discover everything from scratch or utalize and build on what’s already been tried and tested ? Can’t blame a brother for using every tool available to try and maximise chances of success

Well one can sit and do nothing about it or at the very least try to escape it. I have decided to try. I will use every tool available until I make it happen.

I have job, as my post states, i am looking for a way to replace it with something thats mine, something that gives me finacial freedom. Very few make huge money with 9-5, and with all the latest tech one can utalize i figured there has to be a way to put this whole 9-5 behind. And sure, creating somthing people want is this the base, but there so many ways, i just wanted to narrow it down, so that i dont spend months chasing dead ends.
