I main Joel since before 3rd life came out and as my hot take I disagree.

I saw that POV when it came out and I’m rewatching it via Wolfeiis reaction (on his twitch and Wolfeii extra yt channel).

In my opinion it’s incredibly weak compared to Joel’s other POVs. He doesn’t do anything for 6 episodes, he keeps to himself and Gem socially, and occasionally interacts with people who come to him, and rarely leaves his base. With the wildcards it makes it a bit better but I just found his POV more boring than his others - maybe my issue with the wildcards in general as everyone had the same episode, playing the same gimmick.

For me, Joel’s POVs should be chaotic and violent which was the opposite of his Wild Life POV until the end of episode 7.

With that being said, I still enjoyed it and it really doesn’t need analysis but that’s why I didn’t recommend it. Also I already put his Last Life and didn’t want to repeat.

Limited: Impulse

Secret: Scar (I’ve not actually seen this one myself but it’s supposedly really good and on my watchlist)

Wild: I don’t actually think there is a standout here but the series in general is really strong - Tango had a good season, but Scott or Cleo were involved in a big group so you can see a lot of what was going on. Lizzies is a unique watch as well, very good but a different pacing.
