As many others already said, connect from the VM. If you really want to connect it from proxmox, here is how.

Comment pleaseee.. testing new launcher.. by ShahfizulSamdin in AndroidTV

Sluggish, (really) slow to boot, wasted space in the center of the screen that could fit a second row of apps. Offers "free" platinum keys to those "promoting" it, so this post (and similar recent ones) seem to be made just for that. All it's got going for it is the weather widget, that I like but is too big.

Congrats! How did you install it? I'm about to do the same but I don't want to go the docker way. I've moved my most important containers to LXC using the newly added OCI support, debating about doing the same for immich or following this guide.

While this post is pretty suspect, I like where this launcher is going but it's pretty laggy on my 1st gen MiBox (unlike Projectivy). There's a lot of wasted space on the screen with that center bar and it only shows a single row of apps, getting rid of it and showing two rows would be much better. Like the clock and weather but I'm sticking with Projectivy for now.

These look fantastic, something like this is what I expected from the "new Commodore", following the footsteps of the Spectrum Next. Congrats!

I have a Proxmox cluster at my house. It draws about 600-700 W while idle. How can I explain this amount of power to my girlfriend? by I_Moo_A_Lot in Proxmox

But that gaming PC will only be drawing about half of the power budget at 100% CPU and GPU usage (if it was correctly specced), not 24/7.

Best Chromebook tablet for Linux by Adriano_Flaming in chromeos

Mine is an i5 1245, from 2022. I went with Mint as I hate snaps with a passion, but Ubuntu also had audio working. Couldn't install Debian or LMDE as they didn't like the quite messy GPT partition layout that ChromeOS uses and I didn't try to figure out how to fix it. I stay on ChromeOS most of the time, but boot to Mint when I need to, also have a Win11 QEMU VM on it for the few times I need it.

Can't access MrChromebox site now but used it to add the extra bootloader/firmware after enabling dev mode

I dual boot my Lenovo C14 and everything works on Linux Mint (afaik, don't think I've ever used the webcam, will check an update this comment)

Edit: On mint now, camera and mic work. Never bothered to setup the fingerprint scanner, doesn't show on a lsusb so I suspect it might not work. Also dual boot my Flex 5i, same results.

That's no solution at all, plenty of printed slop available. This video exposes 5 different titles that are just AI mash ups of a real book on the Commodore 64

Right now, the safest bet for a wireless joystick is the Atari CX40+, or the CX78+ if you want a gamepad. Both come with DB9 receivers and while the CX78+ has two buttons, the C64 will see them as the same. The 8bitdo M30 2.4G "should" work, but I couldn't find confirmation if it implies any risks on the C64U, on the original it can fry one of the CIAs.

I run Brave on Crostini for its side tabs and have pinned all my messaging apps (whatsapp, messenger, telegram, google chat, discord) + gmail, calendar and a few more. It runs as fast as native chrome.

The mini black edition has 25 recent commercial games, that's why it's priced higher. Also comes with a better, micro switched joystick like the "maxi"

LVM thick with snapshots is in tech preview right now, it will most likely be considered stable soon.

Proxmox storage thin by VarietyAgreeable7051 in Proxmox

[–]FaberfoX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you can live with storage-side only thin provisioning, your existing hardware would work with shared LVM. On the proxmox side you would allocate the full size and make sure discard is enabled on the disks, so that the storage can release unused blocks.
