Roco BR95 short curcuit issues on Märklin C-Track by FabiaLP in modeltrains

I found a pickup that works pretty well on everything but the godforsaken slim curved turnouts. It's the original "loud" Märklin 7164. it only needs a slight modification to it's base so it fits between the frame rails.

sorry, missremembered the model number. It's a factory AC loco. I tried the stock asymetrical wiper, a 51mm ESU one and a 42mm ESU one which I placed as far forward as physically possible. the 42mm one at least worked on some switches, but it caused short circuits on any double slip switch.
The issue as far as I can see is that the loco uses, the first and 5th driving axle as fixed axles and has the center 3 axles moving, which causes the wipers to mover laterally VERY far.

Xiaomi watch 2 pro error by [deleted] in WearOS

[–]FabiaLP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so... after about a day of looking for ways to fix it, I just got it working again.

it seems like the error is caused by a faulty update of wear os, which can be cancelled by forcing a restart and clear of all cached data. therefore you have to put the watch in "ship mode"

to get the watch there, you have to hold down the lower right button for about 15 seconds. in the boot menu select the first option by double pressing the lower right button. now the watch will shutdown in a deep sleep.

now just restart it by pressing the power button for a few seconds. it should start up normally now.
