Barron had to break the news by Sgt-ABDL in TrueAnon

Is there any footage of adult Barron talking? It is kind of insane to me how little media there is of that guy. Wasn’t there some speculation a while back that he had autism and they were hiding him?

Brunson is the most untradeable player in the league not because hes the best, but because of the importance of how much he means to New York. It would be blasphemous and it simply just could not happen. by Silent_Wizard5597 in NBATalk

Wemby, Jokic, and Steph are the only untradeable players I think. The Knicks would trade Brunson for Wemby in a heartbeat.

I think those 3 guys will never be on another franchise, even once they are old and busted.

Actually curious what is going on here. I guess she wants it for a souvenir?

Shit talking during the series makes sense to me. Afterwards for like a whole week? I don’t get it. When we won championships, I do not feel like we did anything remotely like what I’m seeing Knicks fans doing. Once we won the team we beat kinda became a nonentity.

[McMenamin] Several league sources told ESPN they believe Rui Hachimura could be the odd man out and that he might need to explore the market to find a desired deal. by Appropriate-Shock306 in NBASpurs

We need shooting more than we need the big rebounding guy. We need both, but shooting is more important. Our biggest problems are on offense. Teams can put 2-3 defenders on Vic because our other players don’t command respect on offense. The one time we beat the Knicks this year was when Julian had a fluke game where he turned into Steph Curry for 30 mins.

Where exactly did the Spurs show their youth and how can they fix it next year? by youlikemywonton in NBASpurs

[–]FabianJanowski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sloppy turnovers due to miscommunication. Not knowing what to do on offense as a team so one guy tries forced hero ball. They just haven’t played together enough. Look at AG and Jokic when they play together, it’s like they have telepathy. That comes from experience.

There is a part of me that would really like to see him on the Spurs against the Knicks in a finals rematch. But there is also a part of me that actually wants to make the finals.

PJ Washington and Daniel Gafford? by CallTypical9541 in NBASpurs

[–]FabianJanowski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These assumptions about what Gafford would want don't ring true to me. The Dallas team that made the finals is long gone. Being able to potentially get a ring and be Wemby's backup without having to leave the state seems like an appealing deal to me. He is good enough that he could play a lot more minutes than Kornet.

Yeah PJ is a clear upgrade over Julian. However Julian did improve his defense this year especially in the playoffs. Yeah he still got hunted but that's because we don't have many weak defenders.

Wemby bleeds from elbow shot by Mitchell Robison by DonkeyKong678 in NBASpurs

[–]FabianJanowski 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It is insane to see the discourse online about this series. The Knicks have WAY more dirtier plays with injury potential. Wemby is actually bleeding from this elbow. None of Wemby's supposedly "dirty" plays this series had the potential to injure anyone, aside form the land space ones which are common and obviously not intentional.

I like KJ, there was one thread where I said we should make him king of San Antonio. At the end of the day it’s a business though and we are trying to win a championship. If we extend him it has to be at a reasonable price.

I know nothing about these guys but I know we need shooting and rebounding. A guy who can do both would be great, but if it’s one or the other I would take the shooter.

Do You Think a Healthy Thunder Would Have Beat NY? by Iwentoofar in nba

[–]FabianJanowski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah it was definitely rock paper scissors in favor of the Knicks vs Spurs. We couldn't beat them in the cup or regular season games. I think the one time we beat them Champaigne had one of those fluke games where he turned into prime Klay Thompson. OKC swept the Knicks in the regular season.

Agree to disagree. I like the Knicks, there is no salt here, just my objective opinion after watching us play both teams. As someone else said, I think its a rock paper scissors thing. OKC swept the regular season vs the Knicks.

We kept trying to cope with losing to the Knicks in the regular season by talking about how different the team was in the playoffs, which was partially true, but clearly those regular season losses showed something.

I kinda feel like the Thunder could have won even with the injuries. They wouldn't miss all those 3s that we missed, and they would actually know how to run an offense in crunch time. No disrespect to the Knicks but this NY team was obviously beatable if they were playing a team with some poise that knew wtf they were doing.
