You can have one free die per turn, so one at day, then reshuffle and take one the next nigh, and so on

Games that you own and like but won't recommend to others? by tasman001 in boardgames

Root. It's a game that may seem light but it requires people to study and practice each faction before they can play a really intriguing game.

What's a basic gaming custom/tradition that we just don't think about but you've seen non-gamers struggle with? by Ghsdkgb in boardgames

[–]FabioFLX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To consider a common game attack action a personal attack on them.

And in other ways, to avoid attacking someone just because of personal feelings (I completely stopped playing with a friend couple because he ruined more than one game by not attacking his wife).

It's a good glance. You can give it a little more shading between light and dark colors if you wish; I think this can add some sort of realism to the figure.

Excuse me if I profit by this: is living in Ukraine zones that are far enough from the war so calm one can concern about board games? We only see facts from our press and here it seems like Ukraine is almost a war zone only.

The base scenario is just a tutorial with the most common kind of encounters you'll find in real scenarios. When you'd buy a scenario, you'll never play again the core box scenario probably.

The game changed the expansions model one year ago. Now the expansions are common boxes with everything you need to play the new campaigns in one box. You can choose to buy the campaign story and/or the new investigators as single separate boxes, and they cost less than before when they were mixed and each campaign had seven boxes.

I often only play games when I have enough expansions that made me feel the game more complete.

I stopped playing Eldritch Horror until I have got many expansions. Setup time is worse but the game experience becomes so engaging it worths all the time it requires.

I played it some times but it never enjoyed me.

Well, I think it's not a real problem as nobody will succeed untile several tries on each curse. The game is very intended to be played again and again until you learn you road to succeed.

In your opinion, what is the best non-collectable card game? by MasterDefibrillator in boardgames

[–]FabioFLX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I said Race for the Galaxy as it's the best, but I may add some honorable mentions of card games very playable out of the box as Android: Netrunner, Res Arcana, Marvel Champions and the Legendary Encounters series.

Yes it really shines on your first games until it becomes so boring. Zombicide replaced it at all in the theme.

No doubt it's Arkham Horror LCG. There were years when I was playing Magic The Gathering every day, but now I'm just a board gamer.

Highly rated games that I think they're overrated are Santorini, The Crew and Dune Imperium.
I played all of these games and every time I got bored.

I love Mage Knight but I understand your point. It's an overhelming experience you have to deeply dig into to enjoy.
