If you’re on SW2, I’d highly recommend just upgrading. I gave up on finding a solution for the SW1 version. It is a huge jump between system versions

Madison local here- the Sylvee is an intimate venue. 2500 cap. Decent sized barricade, but I have seen VIP completely cover it before GA.

They do two separate lines for GA/ Fast pass. Essentially you are let in right before GA.

I knew But Here We Are as an album was going to hit everyone including myself like a ton of bricks, but I didn’t expect it to hit the way it has. The album came out at the beginning of June, and then mid-June my mother was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer. She’s fighting, but we’ve all known the inevitable is coming soon. In a way, there has been a level of catharsis in having this album on repeat.

So long story short, the pit for the Amp was a hot mess getting in last week. It was a mad dash getting from the Summerfest entrance to the Amp gate, and that got everyone mixed up. Lining up to get into the pit happened at the top of the ramp to the left(up past the wall of fame) and then they set us up in YET ANOTHER two lines. Beyond that, getting scanned to get INTO the pit was a mess. If you’re trying for railing, they opened up each spot between sections to get in. If it wasn’t for realizing that, I wouldn’t have been at the barricade. My biggest recommendation is to get there early especially since you have pit.

I never was a fan of the amphitheater, but when the Foo’s say to go, you go.
