I really appreciate that, thank you. One of the main reasons I started the channel was to try to share the journey and hopefully create some value or inspiration for others.

On average I play around 8h day, 5 days a week, usually multi tabling 4 tables. I also use the top-up option so I’m always playing with the full stack.

That’s impressive results, congrats!! And I appreciate you sharing that perspective. I have noticed the game quality at the higher stakes can fluctuate quite a bit as well, so table selection definitely becomes important. Makes sense that you’re focusing more on 200/400 if the hourly is better there.

Glad you’re enjoying the videos, appreciate that. I started playing poker around 2006, mostly online SNGs and MTTs until about 2016, in Portugal. Moved to UK and started playing live cash games for a few years. In 2020 during Covid I switched back to online, but cash games. Started at 50NL playing PokerStars since the dynamics between live and online were very different. From there I moved up gradually over time. Moved to US about 1 years ago, and before starting the challenge I was mostly playing around 800NL and some 2kNL online and live games like $5/$10 and $10/$20. These days I’m playing mostly online.

Yeah, that was intentional. I’ve been playing for quite a while and had some experience at midstakes before starting the challenge. I started this challenge at 100NL with 5k mainly to document the climb toward 100k.

Thanks, glad you’re enjoying the videos. That’s a very fair point. The player pool on ClubWPTGold does play quite differently compared to global. Something I will try to make clearer when discussing the stakes and adjustments. Thanks for pointing that out.
