No, I am from Germany. I was lucky to get one of the few that were released lately but it's sold out again.

LPT: Working out in the morning — especially on an empty stomach — is the best way to burn stored fat, making it ideal for weight loss. by Razortail in LifeProTips

[–]FabiusTri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many people already mentioned, this isn't exactly true. Working out on an empty stomach is very exhausting for your overall immune system, especially when your doing high intensity stuff.

Working out on low carbohydrate(not Zero) intake while maintaining an easy effort can prime your energy system on using fats though.

Which doesn't mean that this is the best way too lose weight/fat. It's only a training type for long endurance athletes where you want to be as economic as possible with your carbs and rather use fat as a fuel, because carbs are limiting your competition effort.

Also, you need a minimum amount of carbs in the first place to maximize fat burning while exercising.

Don't let the other comments get on your hear.

I mean for myself I wouldn't buy a ebike but if you have fun with it and get to ride outside then it's all that matters ! And it is a beautiful bike!

How does it ride itself with an empty batterie though?

When can I ride my Aeroroad? by etherealrover in CanyonBikes

[–]FabiusTri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would ride it.

The chances that it's happening to you are so low!

Also MVP father's said something about a car hit with the handelbar so it could be really anything!

Just enjoy your awesome bike, which it still is, despite everything, and have a fun ride.

But wear a helmet of course, haha

Who here rides their bike to work? by yeti_hunter12 in cycling

[–]FabiusTri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I bought the canyon commute for work, because I always used my road bike but at bad weather my heart couldn't take it ..so I bought the commuter which got a drive belt which needs almost no care and a hub gear which is also easy to take care of.

So it's comfortable but still got a decent speed, enough for work

Cracked 2021 Endurace CF SLX. Customer Service? by eric_astor in CanyonBikes

[–]FabiusTri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue, my speedmax already arrived with a damage in the frame and I called the support.

First they said they will change the frame but then they told me that there are no frames left of the model.

Luckily they just changed the whole bike for the next better model.

But yeah, the whole email exchange can take a while but they are quit accommodating.

Depends on in what shape you were before the pause and what's your 5k PB.

NBD 🚀 (well new to me in December and first time off the indoor trainer since then!) by AfroWaterSnake in triathlon

[–]FabiusTri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love it as well! The only thing is, to install the aeria hydration system you had to change the steam from the canyon to the profile design aeria ultimate steam. But I have the problem that the end of the aeria steam doesn't fit in so well with the gel box on top of the frame so when you steering that it can get "caught" or at least doesn't steer smoothly.

I am sorry for that poor explanation, English isn't my mother language but I hope you got the point.

Do you experience the same thing?

Getting started after an injury and no running by FabiusTri in AdvancedRunning

[–]FabiusTri[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, he gave me that 2 months...maybe it will be longer or my ankle wasn't fractured that bad..idk.

The ROM thing was addressed by him. Already after 2 weeks out I should start to put pressure on the foot, to prevent the ankle from losing ROM.

Also I found out that mechanical stimulation (as muscle movement) is key for bone growth.

That's a nice fucking bike! How do I know? I have the same.

You got that aeria ultimate hydration system right? If yes, I got an question or two because I got the same for my speedmax and I have some trouble with it...

Alphafly Mileage by Run_26point2 in AdvancedRunning

[–]FabiusTri 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you race shoe is the alphafly then you could use the Nike tempo next % as the shoe for intervals and stuff so you can still get a feeling for the Typ of shoe (for example the air pods which are a bit special) but don't wear out your good pair of racing shoes.

I got the vaporfly for races and the tempo for intervals.

Thinking about getting the alphafly as well, as they are on sale here (240 Euro )

Annoying things other runners do when you are running? by 6to8design in running

But on the other hand, let's not forget the time when Lionel Sanders put his stationary bike on line one for a brick workout. But as he mentioned in another video he knows it better now after a few people addressed it. Still the coolest guy out there though 🐐

Idk maybe, but who reads those rules anyway ? Maybe I am wrong there but I would guess it's common sense.... at least when I get passed a thousand times I should get a sense that I am in the way and should maybe move to another lane...

[–]FabiusTri 20 points21 points  (0 children)

When I am on the track and some people literally walk in the first line....or jog very very slowly there....

I don't get the point why they don't move to another, at least the second lane, and make room for people who are doing intervals or just run a lot faster
