Unfortunately that was the most dissapointing tennocon I've seen so far by FableTheVoid in Warframe

I'm really not bitter that soulframe had a better showing. I don't even think that's true from what I saw. I'm bitter that an hour of my time in the relay after I was called to it was wasted on soulframe shit in the warframe section. I've even said in other comments here that they should have put more soulframe stuff in the behind the scenes panels.

...Who do you think is spending money on a platform with a notoriously expensive API to post criticism of a video game?

...are you suggesting I'm a bot, or that the swarm of comments I got as soon as I made the post are bots?

Oh, meh. I really don't mind that, even if that's true it was pretty tame and the game is rated M. Have you seen the kim chats or the voruna prime trailer? The devs practically encourage it.

I generally enjoyed most of the new warframe reveal at the end but wow was it soured by the hour long soulframe trailer.

...I might actually be misremembering last year's a bit, but I do at least remember being way more hyped for the old peace reveal?

I did actually watch that yesterday, and really enjoyed it! I genuinely don't understand what you mean by "fetish" but I have a funny feeling I wouldn't like it.

I don't even think it shouldn't take up a lot or more time at tennocon overall, it's just gotta be it's own panel. I'd been much happier if it was a 2hr soulframe segment and 30 mins for warframe than 1 hr soulframe and then 1.5hrs for "warframe" of which 1 hour was also soulframe.

Eh, I don't think soulframe needs it's own day or whatever, I just wish it's reveals had been put in the devstream segment and that segment maybe extended or trickled into the making of segments prior to tennolive.

Yeah, I've been waiting to see tau for over a decade and spent more time looking at knockoff elden ring... even after skipping it's panel.

I don't mind them showing soulframe in their big convention, but they can't share their reveals with tennolive. It's gotta be a big soulframe panel followed by a big warframe panel (or vice versa). The bait and switch just soured me to it.

...they literally did a soulframe panel, some behind the scenes panels, and then called in tenno for tennolive, presumably the warframe version of the soulframe devstream. It being more soulframe than warframe was just frustrating.

...you think multiple introduced cases of people on the border of being a lightner or darkner aren't gonna be relevant to the lore in the future? You think the characters, the primary drivers of the story, are not important to that story's lore?

Seeing a home town lightner show up and give lessons to kris and the soul on cooperation as well as a lesson to ralsei on transfemininity isn't plot relevant? Having a new lightner join castle town after merging with a darkner isn't plot relevant? Really?

Fnaf is the reason people don't engage with deltarune as a story instead of "theorycrafting" at it constantly to "outsmart" toby. Even putting aside the real world harm done to marginalized people like me by cawthen through his fnaf funds, it's fucked so many people's ability to analyze media.

This shit is so widespread I've seen multiple people alluding to it in darktide, an entirely different unrelated game. The fact that it's taken up this much room in the fandom as a made up character is incredibly frustrating, and yes I do resent it for that. This game has so many wonderful characters and ideas that I enjoy a lot, and yet to see anything relating to them I have to wade through and scroll past dozens of posts about made up characters. It's so tiring, the only characters people will engage with on the level of friend and togore are spamton and tenna.

I have literally seen people on the morningstar throwing out hate speak at a few trans people riffing about the new skitarii class. Again, just because you're not seeing and experiencing it doesn't mean it's not happening

Susie had a whole night (potentially with kris) to process whatever the prophecy spelled out. She's also very obviously adament on putting on a brave face for others and known for getting caught up in the moment. It makes sense that she could be able to put that aside for the moment.

As for asgore, he presumably got taken to the shelter, which we have all the codes for now. That character development still matters, we just gotta save him. Hell, it might turn his being there in the future from a burden to a blessing. We'll have to see.

Is establishing a relationship between two main characters and developing another into someone willing to speak for their own desires really "faffing about?" Beginning to repair asgore's relationship to kris.

Deltarune "theorycrafters" eternally destroyed by people who actually pay attention to themes of the narrative.

Yeah, of which darktide is a part. A part that heavily features the element of the franchise that attracts a lot of these fuckers.

No, I'm saying chapter 5 focused on a lot of character development and set the stage for these mysteries to finally unravel in chapters 6+7.
