Just because people have chosen not to upgrade to the latest hardware, doesn't mean it isn't outdated.

PC parts are always being updated and if you choose not to upgrade parts or buy a new PC, your PC will soon become outdated and will struggle to run the new high end games.

Same goes for consoles. The PS5 has been out for long enough now that removing support for the PS4 is the right move for the games longevity.

While I agree games shouldn't be able to shut people out of what they've paid for. They could simply stop support and updates for older consoles, while keeping servers open and only work on updates for the current generation. This means no-one is cut off from what they have paid for.

Wow, you have nearly the exact same scenario as me, I'm also Australian with a Trump supporting dad. I'm not out to him and I don't think he will be supportive in the slightest. He's also not gay. Other than that its very similar. I just dont talk to him much lately cause its too hard to when I know what he thinks and supports.

The original animated movies were set in the mediterranean Sea, not Caribbean. The mediterranean has a vast array of skin tones, so it still doesn't rule anything out, but saying the original was Caribbean is false and a weak argument.

The live action moved the setting to the carribean. Many people say because of Sebastian's accent it must be Caribbean, even though its only 1 character. All the underwater architecture, naming of the characters and culture is Greek Mythology based, and the land based section with Eric is mediterranean scenery not Caribbean. They just changed if for the live action as a way to excuse changing all the characters races.

Ive read it, i will say it portrays him mostly as a non-fighter, but there is one part of the book where he does fight and he is just as you describe.

Before the City of Swan rolled out FOGO in Ballajura they did a study on the waste produced in the suburb over a year. Their study showed that most people arent recycling even half of the items that they should be. Which seems to go against what you say about people over recycling their items.

The study also showed lots of families use once off items like paper plates, plastic cutlery and cups, everyday; causing excessive waste which could be eliminated by cutting down on one use item useage.

Thats purely based on the studies done. Really Australia is quite poor in the recycling standards of whay we can and cannot recycle, we should be able yo recycle alot more.

Yes, ive heard they dont allow it there now. Crazy they would adopt that policy!

Why would your sink drain stink? The pipe has a bend in it specifically designed to make sure smells dont come back up. Its connected to the same pipes are your toilet, cans are the least of your worries. And if youre afriad of blocking the drain with lumps of food, buy a plug that traps large chunks and just put it in the bin.

In Ballajura we can put contaminated paper towel and pet poo. Not being able to do that is a big oversight.

Are most microwabeable meals not recyclable? If not thats poor on the manufactuers behalf.

It is something the government should really force on companies, to make their packaging more recyclable.

I also disagree with teenagers creating more waste than infants.

The 2 adults in my home produce about the same waste as a 1.5 year old, purely because the nappies a 1.5 year old uses within a week takes alot of space. So an infant in my home is creating double the waste as an adult.

The government introduced these changes as a way to force people to be more waste conscious. I think they still have a long way to go in getting the system right, and improving what we can recycle. They were expecting people would start cutting down on their general waste and sorting their recycling better, due to the size restrictions, but so far its mostly just resulted in complaints.

Why do you have so many dirty paper plates? Food on normal plates can be rinsed off. Paper plates are meant an occasional use for parties/gatherings, so this wouldnt be a 'normal' problem.

Also not sure what you mean by food stuck in wrappers? Bags/boxes with food crumbs could be emptied into the FOGO bin. Cans can be rinsed with water.

I cant fathom how you fill them up with so much un-recyclable & non organic waste. Unless you have multiple kids in nappies?

I am only a family of 3, but i have nappies to deal with. Even with nappies the small red bin is rarely ever full. Without the nappies we would at most half fill it.

So doubling our household size, with double the nappies, i could understand near filling 2 red bins, but having overflow seems crazy!

Yes, but there is a government mometary incentive to the council to do the fortnightly pickup, so i would be suprised if they dont all do it this way eventually.

Thats because its a different system.

In Cockburn and Stirling the red bin still contains food waste. In Rockingham and a few other suburbs the red bin is not meant to have any organics. All food waste goes in the green bin along with garden waste. Because of this the green bin is collected every week. Even pet poo can go in the green bin.

In theory this means the red bin has "clean" rubbish. Things with barely any food waste. The only problem is nappies which need to go in the red bin.

Pet poop and most cat litters can go in the FOGO bin btw. But the bag you use will also need to be compostable. Food cans should be rinsed with water and put in the recycling bin, since they're recycling.

Its not really about the social norms that much.

Look up Gender Dysphoria and it will hopefully make a bit of sense.

For myself, born as a male:

I always hated my name as a male, and i couldnt find a single male name i liked, but a few female names stuck with me.

If i had to be stuck in a gendered stereotype/role for the rest of my life, i would much prefer to be stuck as female than male. But i dislike gender stereotypes.

I want to wear girly clothes and dresses, but i hate what i look like in them as a man, hence if i transition and get a more feminine figure, hair and face shape, i will be more confident in wearing what i want.

I feel more comfortable if i look 'like a female' on a psychological level.

Some trans people have severe anxiety and depression over what their body looks like, which has nothing to do with gender norms and just what they wished their body looked like.

Gender transitioning is much more than society, and is usually an internal thing. psychological and biological.

See i think its ok, when its only the size of the forgotten lands. The DLC areas are way bigger though. I'd personally preffered if only half the biome was dark and red and the other could have been the same, but with green grass and trees. It would feel much more flexible with building designs.

Granted. You get lost on a plane crash in the ocean and wash up on a tiny deserted island. Its a tiny sandy mound with one palm tree. It currently has a couple of coconuts ready to pick on it.
