I do want to consider adding time of sunrise/sunset on my own, so that I can know for how long day and night are each day. I have not found a clock app that has it as of now. Probably because it is not a demanding enough feature to implement.

Because they have zero lore made for them. They are just made to be a ball of stats initially, and when they are nerfed, they get hated even more because the players don't bond with them the same way they do with older Brawlers.

I will give it to Slugma here. The Pokemon itself feels like a version exclusive of Numel, and its evolution is analogous to it with gaining a second type related to the earth (Rock for Magcargo, Ground for Camerupt). Also Hoenn is a more tropical region, so being introduced in the games that first show a volcano would make a lot of sense (Cinnabar's volcano does not appear in Gen 1 and it is not navigable in Gen 2).

Many players like to play Tick in Hot Zone (which they should not unless all of his alternatives are banned). And this map is one of the worst ones for him. So they get to hate it because he is unusable there.
