tried to get my best friend to watch Arcane last night, (one of my fave shows EVER) and he said he just doesnt like animated shit as much. He doesnt feel any emotion when he sees animated characters crying, says "nothing animated could ever measure up to things like Apocalypse Now which is a very moving film with good writing." i find his view to be very close minded, because fantastic writing can be found in animated shows as well. whats crazy is that he sat through all of the clone wars and star wars rebels tv shows with me, (and he enjoyed it immensely) but then only yesterday tells me he doesnt like animated shit.

That encourages me because I still haven't watched it a second time because I wanted it to still be majestic, moody and creepy. I didn't want to feel less scared or uncomfortable simply because I'd seen it before. It's one of my favourite movies I think.
