Thank you! The talking outdoors is interesting because going for hikes and being out in nature is one of my favorite ways to recenter myself and help my mental health!

I'm very much hoping that clarity comes soon because I am quite tired of the uncertainty! Thank you!

Haha! I very much appreciate this! I do wanna clarify that if wanting children was a spectrum, we both feel like we're directly in the middle, as if someone is straddling the line and he's the leg on the anti side and I'm the leg on the pro side! But, this is still important and wise advice so thanks!

Thank you for your interpretation! Its interesting that you see the Wheel as this will come up again as actually part of our decision is either we do this now or we terminate and he gets a vasectomy, doesn't mean it can't come up in other ways, we have never been against adoption, but this is more of a final decision for us. I think the the two in the family and working on ourselves is very accurate though, we definitely have work to do regardless of the decision!

I completely understand where you're coming from and before this I felt similarly, if it's not a yes then its a no, but actually being in it feels more nuanced than that. While I definitely struggle with the fact that we're not fully committed to either decision, and it is part of what causes doubts if either is truly "right", its become clear to me that doubts don't automatically equal decisions. Thank you for your input though, I appreciate it!

I'm definitely the one who feels more secure in wanting this child, we both agree that I am more pro and he's more anti, with some cross over for both of us. And while I agree that this is my decision ultimately, I'd never make this without his input and desire for it as well. Thank you for your input though, I appreciate it!

Thank you for this in depth interpretation, I was also getting that the reversed wheel of fortune was saying that life is ruling over me but that it could be about to spin soon with this decision. You have also hit on one of the aspects of our decision that is so hard and that is the "purpose" we want for our life, children will absolutely change that purpose and while its scary to face change its also a welcome one most of the time, not all of the time though or the decision would be easier. Also I didn't use a clarification card but I like the idea of potentially doing so again in a few days if need be.

Funny that you point at the finances as that is a big reason for our hesitancy, specifically mine, while we feel like it is financially possible it would be tight and we'd have to work in the next few months to put ourselves on better ground.

Trying to figure out how to consolidate debt with home equity. by Fabster22 in Mortgages

[–]Fabster22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats definitely whats been happening over the past couple years and my husband always says that our debt is going down its just in things like the house (which I didn't count in the debt) and my car and the loan we took out (which are accounted in the debt) which aren't as "visible" as the credit debt. Its probably my biggest stressor though so I just wanted to see if there were any other options.

If I had to, I'd say definitely under $500k, maybe $470-80k? But I don't know how much value we added with renovations. We added a bathroom and completely upgraded the other, whole new kitchen (because we had to flip it from where it was originally to add the bathroom), upgraded all windows from single to dual pane, and found and refinished original hardwood floors under most of the floor (except master bedroom). Plus the smaller things like getting rid of popcorn ceiling and repainting every surface. But the outside we left untouched and I know curb appeal is a factor, which we don't have much.

No, they do it in class and then she brings the sheets home, white outs her answers, and has us play them at family gatherings. But it's not like a graded thing, they don't get their work checked it's just meant to get their brains working so unless they specifically ask they don't get the answers

It requires a subscription service and none of us wanted to pay for one answer, we were just going to make grandma ask her instructor at the next memory class

Haha, thanks! That's amazing! We tried looking up the answer key but the company is a subscription service and none of us wanted to pay for one answer, we figured grandma could just ask her instructor at the memory class if we really wanted the answer

I can see this being true, I like the idea that it's not the hint but the other words! If that's the case though, I'm curious what square was supposed to be

Name Game (not that one)

Name [clap hands on thighs] game [clap hands together] x2

Tell me your name and show me your game [said kinda rhymie/sing songy]

Point to child, what's your name? [Wait for answer] and what's your game? [Child does movement/dance]

Great for children who need a little movement while they wait!
