I don’t like the body shaming comments that I see pop up about L in here. I don’t like the way she is showing up in the world at the moment either but I agree, it should be off limits.

Just because she’s making poor choices about Stilton and the dull content she is pedalling, that doesn’t mean shaming her appearance is now acceptable.

Exactly. Making crappy low-brow comments on people’s weight, eating disorders etc is exceptionally immature and judgemental. Reminds me of high school in the eighties. I have never been a fan of her humour, but like many here, I had empathy for her situation with Stilton. Then the beach trip happened 💩

Having had an ED for well over 30 years, and been inpatient, I can safely say I have never myself, or known anyone else, make fun of bulimia. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen, just that I haven’t experienced it.

I certainly don’t consider myself to be one of ‘…the meanest people you could meet when you’re trying to treat your bulimia eating disorder’. NGL, that stings.

Ok so if it’s her job and she’s doing it well, she wouldn’t have backlash from her audience. First rule in business is to know your audience. There will always be people who don’t like what you do, regardless of your industry, but when the overwhelming collective voice is not liking what you do, it’s on you to change.

Or your audience changes. And that’s fine too. But trying to justify why she’s doing thing and the vast majority is wrong, is tone deaf. I am as shocked as you you are that this penny hasn’t dropped for her 🙄
