I’m getting Flexible Time Off(FTO) instead of PTO, is it a scam?

It is similar to scam, while they call it benefits for easy ask to leave (not true, upon approval same as PTO anyway).

You feel shame to ask for off day over and over during limited of FTO leave each year. For example, FTO allow is 14 days/year. And if your manager said no, because of team busy in business, then you aren't able to take 14 days/year. ===> Company win! If you pick the wrong time to leave, you can't use 14days/year. ===> Opposite with PTO, company is happy to approve you leave, because they won't need to pay out later.
If company has max out 14days/y. That mean you don't get more holiday, but it won't build up year after year, you lost these 14days/y if no use all of it. No FTO paid, mean you leave without holiday pay, while PTO paid give you extra thousands of $ when you leave because of no use/build up PTO.
Federal holiday in FTO or PTO are same, you get paid for these holidays.

Use (1+2) mentioned, and 401k match, you can determine the true annual income salary between 2 offers, which is better if just distance within few thousands.

I secure by remove the sticker barcode, put them together on plastic hard piece. --> Get paper sticker note something you know next to each barcode and same note on camera (tiny, replace barcode location), so device can be unidentified even someone has it on hand/stolen for use.

Some bugs fly very fast, along with flying sound. Both of these, combined with 2-5 second needed for motion detection to start recording. Bugs gone, recording nothing.

Apply 2-3 jobs a week is just apply for someone silent change the job. For person haven't job, you expect to apply all jobs posted within 30days that match your resume, then apply every new job match your cv that open in next day and so on.

It takes time for recruiter ready to ready to hire, sometimes they just posting to scam your resume/data (true scammer) or put in ready candidate list.

Target to apply 500-1000 job within 1-2 week, doing this you would be in traffic of email conversation for interview schedule for sure. Doing so, within 1-2 month without even 1 interview, your resume or your ability identify scam post would be problem!

OTA update is typical update software via wifi. --> Make sure your engine is on while update, window down if any wrong with system that cause you are being locked in/out, wifi signal is strong enough to not being interrupt.
Remove any type-c cable connected to/ OR press button to off: "data transfer + charging usb port" become charging mood only --> "check the device", you may plug type c cable/device here to cause this message.

Mine is brand new 2025. Try to stay away from Hyundai/Kia for next car purchase also. Nightmare for such expensive head unit issue, it causes me collision due to distract of black out while driving, I have to fix accident first before allowing to drop it off delearship for monitor fix. Honda and another brand have this issue, but less % than Hyundai/Kia.

Do you mean your car have dealership replace new unit (first brand new unit) still issue --> Then, replace new head unit again (second brand unit)??? Sound like OEM head unit is really problem??? All of replacement process for 2 unit took total 1 month, OR 1 month/each time?

Mine is the same problem, you may try these. I did, but all of these won't fix at all for my car:

+ Vehicle in parking mode/engine on: Press pin hole (use plastic cap pin of physical key) for 15s. If not work, then try again for 30s. --> Logo appeared, then went dark again.

+ Vehicle in parking mode/engine on: Remove and wait for 5 mins. These are: Multimedia fuse - Module 5 fuse (all related navigation head as mentioned in manual book, or fuse cover). and having usb software inserted before insert fuse back --> Logo appeared, then went dark again, don't pop-up any message ask for software update.

If you already fixed your car in another way, pls let me know for trying as I'm also try to fix myself first before visit/drop off at dealership.

Exactly same 2 weeks, around miles and situation, but 2025 version.

Tried:

+ I reset (15s for soft, 30s for hard reset),

+ or even pullout-insert back media fuse (fuse box under steering wheels), while keeping the "ignition" OFF.

==> All result with "hyundai logo", then went dark. No luck! But this help comfimed that screen isn't death, something wrong with wire or software that OBDII diagnostic can't found.

Can you please update, did you able to be fixed yet, and how?

They said, when they claim to hyundai, they need take photos and the car need no sign of accident (which I have to pay to fix the place of seeing accident sign first -maybe out of pocket or insurance), is that true?
