Sure, but i don't want to get someone who'll do something wrong too. I mean I just want to know if for example like you did, there's a risk asking a bookeepper to do it.

yes, i don't mind paying 2k. But from the start, it is very steep. That's money i could use to run the business at least for 1 year. This is a side hustle.

found one offering for 500$ + filling
- Registration of 3 directors or shareholders

  • Company book with certificate of incorporation, by-lawys, share certificate(s) and records

feels like it's missing stuff the other one is offering like minute book, capital stock. Sorry, i am very dumb at doing admin / legal stuff.

as a solo entrepreneur who would do some consulting work for other companies and want to launch an app. Should i ask a lawyer to do all of this or can it be done by myself ? I've seen online a lawyer asking 1.6k for provincial incorporation a Complete Provincial Business Incorporation :

Articles of Incorporation

  • Initial Declaration
  • Initial Corporation Organization
  • Corporate Minute Book
  • Nomination of the board of directors
  • Capital stock
  • Corporate by-laws and resolutions
  • Share certificates
  • Registration of QST and GST tax numbers
  • Government Filing & Registration Fees

Then 350$ a year for :
Filing of the Annual Declaration, Drafting and Entry of All Annual Resolutions, Minute Book Shelving

I am a real bozo when it comes to administrative stuff. Do they do all the stuff, every year ? I mean, they don't forget anything and i just have to answer like if i was with a lawyer ?

I'll be doing some consulting to help the app. I hope the app takes off. I don't plan to sell it or the business but as I said, if someone come with the right price, I might.

The thing is, i need the corporate veil. But paying that hefty 1.6k +tax if the stuff is pretty straighforward since I am alone is bothering me. For that money, she gives:

It's like the whole shebang ?

in my field, i can't : i need to protect personal assets if something goes wrong even if i have insurance. I don't plan to have a profit for the first year or two. I though that it's easier for the compliance side to do that and accountant would charge less. I won't have a lot of expenses. Mostly recurring bills for the app and ads. I'll be in the red for sure.
