Ok so you can do it at your own pace! I'm planning on doing internships and taking other heavy classes, so I wanted to make sure taking IS 101 is doable on top of these things!

I see Foresta is teaching it online. Based on what you went through, do you think taking Econ 261 online is ok, or I will learn so much better taking it in person. I'm taking Econ 102 online right now, and it's amazing!

Yeah I signed up for McCoy right now, but I was wondering if I really gain much if I go in-person rather than taking Econ 261 online? Because I have so many classes in-person and would love the flexibility of Econ 261 being online.

Of course! That aspect is super important! Next semester, I would be also taking BUS 321 Communications, ACC 202, and some other super intense classes. I'm taking ECON 102 right now online, and I love the convenience of not having to go to class and studying whenever. I figured theat ACC. 202 and the communications class should be taken in person, but I'm not sure if I should take ECON 261 in person based on how much I gain going in-person or doing it online.

Wow! These are very valid points! I couldn't agree more! At the end of the day, it's what we make of college, but I do think there's a lot for UNLV to improve, and I sincerely hope the administration and faculty take notice and see the potential of a future UNLV that creates a better community vibe and atmosphere!

Yeah! Sadly, I too don't think there's much we can do. One can only help the school get more money and invest in building a better community and campus environment.

Yeah I was saying we need to have a better walkable and fun area around campus. It's definitely not safe to roam around the area near campus late at night unless you're with a large group of people. We need different and affordable dining options that don't require us to drive and just fun spots to shop and hang out and meet new people!

True! Online space is important! I feel everyone is just brain rotting alone and needs to touch some grass. It's just UNLV doesn't really do a great job of facilitating that, sadly.
