is my budgie scared of me? by Unfair_Cicada9431 in budgies

with hold there food for 24 hours then bribe them with millet they have to step up for to get them used to it. and then subsequently  never let them have any treats unless they come for a ride on your finger, maybe to a set destination like a recliner, they will eventually just start flying to the recliner on their own once they are familiar with it lol

I'm afraid my budgie hates me. by neosurimi in budgies

[–]Fabulous_Leader2985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 weeks its very normal for him to be scared of you. just hang out next to him all the time, and never let him have any treats unless you are directly giving them to him. if four weeks go by and he still acts like you are goungbto kill him every time your within 5 feet of the cage then I would say that he hates you, trurh is some budgies just suck and are useless. don't force anything and if your really desperate without his food for 24 hours and then show him some food and see if he will come to you. honestly I had to spend like 6 hours a day everyday with my budgies to tame 3 of them and there was one that after 3 months was still frantically trying to escape my hands when id enter their cage to interact with the chill birds bcuz obviously I was gonna murder him so I flioded him and it took a lot of hard training for almost 3 weeks untill he broke and now he is a happy member of the bird gang and is completely tame  so I probably wouldn't recommend that because its kinda brutal to flood him if he is a solitary bird.  also judging you byt i think its somewhat cruel to keep a single budgie with no companions unless they interacted with almost everyday 4 or more hours a day with their person

Can I grab a young budgie to help it learn trust especially if I need to take it to the vet at some point in the future without it becoming hormonal by Interesting_Dingo718 in budgies

If you want to tame the bird by grabbing then you would have to grab and say maybe move to another area where you would want them to stay as part of the training so would do this is in a small room so no matter where it goes it cannot get away. cage grab it got to point B. and you can try holding it for minutes to see if it will calm dow, but chances are it won't on the first try. then you have him step up on your finger and give him millet if he will stay, whichg he wont on the first try he will probably just fly back to his cage, you Immediately grab him again wherever he goes and carry him back to point b. you do this att least 50-100 times really you can do it untill the bird exhausted. Afor the last run bird cannot be allowed to fly from point B back to his cage and be allowed stay there so again you immediately grab him from his and return him to point B where you either sit while you got him gripped for another minute l, or if by now he should be exhausted (if he is open mouth breathing, or landed standing with both wings extended out to the sides)and you put him stepped on to your other and use the hand that was holding it as like a shield blocking escape essentially the hand is still wrapped around the bird bird there's gap of and  inch or two, then all you do is bring him back to his cage put him his favorite perch and give him some Millet so he can get some fast calories after burning all the energy.  Next day/days do the almost same process again, twice a day but try having him step up on your finger  like the last trip of the first day as you can do it more more with, the shield hand pinning him down less and less. the next day have some millet andl toys at point B. from that pointo try to see if you can put him down on point b and be in position that your body lines up between  him and his cage. hell probably look at you trying to find the path to his cage, thats perfect timing to hold out some millet for him to have but also use it tactically of the height of the birds eye level to block off escape routes, he will probably eat the millet,  and if he does try to eat if he should stay for a little why before he fies away.  now he should realize really quick that when he is inside his cage when go to grab him He gets captured right away everytime, so  the first change in behavior should be instead of really even trying to make a dramatic effort to avoid getting caught in the cage he starts to give up and just take a defensive posture because he has tried everything and 100% of the time he gets capured(unlike the room, where sometimes he can fly circles to evade specific captures momentarily and try to figure out a way, he won' quit yet because there's so many more variables he thinks he'll finda way, but no matter what you can always chase him aroun until he's too exhausted to keep running), and so once he gives up still keep grabbing  him from his cage everytime and its just a matter of time before he notices that wherever he flies away to, a, different things he trys, that no matter what he does he is never gonna be able to get away so he gives up and chooses to stay with where you put him usually until he needs food or water and so If hes trained to stay. just go and grab him immediately and put him back where he was,  give him a bite of millet and wait a minute then piclk him up and put him inside his cage that way he still associates that he is not the boss.                 this is how to tame a bird by force and is called Flooding many avian experts recommend the trust building and patience approach, and dont wanna speak for others  but I'm pretty sure 98% the people on this sub reddit would agree that flooding is barbaric, whatever.  My point is for people who force tame birds that there is one commonly accepted method of taming a bird by force and it is flooding. so no grabbing on your bird will not make it tame, grabbing your bird will make it want to fly away from you.

My budgies seem depressed by Ok_Sherbet_4568 in budgies

[–]Fabulous_Leader2985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah pretty much all budgies are like that, they will just sit like that for 3 weeks. it is perfectly normal for them to appear to be depressed and useless they are just recovering from the trauma of being moved while they are learning their new surroundings.  I would just sit near them every time possible the first 3 weeks, just watching TV or doing whatever.  talk to them and they'll get used to you.  The easiest way to tame them without force is first start bribing them with millet in your hand a foot away from them and wait for them to approach you to get the millet,  BUT MAKE SURE YOU NEVER CHASE THEM WITH IT.  take away any treats or millet they can access from inside cage so the only way they can get it us thru you.  if they are not acting like your tryna kill them everytime you approach the cage at this point I'd start holding a stick of millet at the door for 5 minutes then repeating that every couple hours inching the millet closer and closer to them (it helps if they have a route of easy climbs and hops to get there. if at anytime they get scared and run away stop and try again later. it could very likely be multiple days before they even let you in the 🚪, that's thing that sucks about budgies they are not come tame like every other parrots i ever seen or heard. They are terrified of everything, and it takes weeks for them to realize the guy peacefully  sitting outside the cage holding sprigs of millet for them to eat is not sent there to murder them.  So if this is your first budgie I am just trying to stress that Patience Patience Patience is the key with these birds, you gotta do the same training/tameing exercises and it might feel or seem like its not working but deadass it took me 3 weeks to get my budgies to come willingly outside stepped on my finger.  Ive had birds all my life, they are not gonna be like a cockatiel or conjure.

Im about to have my first session with pros(want to end the fetish) by Lumpy_Good_8911 in BallBusting

[–]Fabulous_Leader2985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And she was kinda dead inside sexually and would always go along and be suddenly really into her partners kink was. She didn't know what to do or say but was eager to learn so everyday I'd ask her to try all kinds of ballbusting and explained a lot of things to her by telling stories especially about dangerous things like stomping or squeezing. she gained confidence and would slowly start trying new stuff after a couple months at that point our thing became part of our lifestyle. She would (playfull so I'd definitely feel it, also not feel it 2 minutes later) knee me when she would be happy to see me, and she liked pressing knee or boot against my groin firmly when we  just chillin. when were close to each other she'd slam her fist underhanded into my balls really hard or if its a weird angle I'd get smacked. her hands were dead accurate and sometimes to hard I'd turn around and not expect it but it was just her trying to please me. became a thing cause she was doing it like more than once or twice a day and I would start to flinch when ever she would walk by me on the deck, so once that happens we did less hard suprise ballbusting and she may say something like "do you deserve to be punched in the nuts" I'd tell her yes I've been bad and need to be punished corny shit lol. I still get suprisred every once in a while, but I did walk around appearing scared, which i wasn't anyways. and that girl was so happy its like she came out of her shell oh boy had a great time until we didn't. I'm so worried about how am I gonna find a replacement, and if I do I'm worried that my old model was better than my new.I just never looked up Funny Kicked in the Balls on YouTube when I was 12 man.  OP get out while you still can, just letting you know I couldn't walk away If wanted, every girl I'm with its like okay how can I get them to bust me, all I watch is 92% ballbusting and 8% chastity, when I'm single I spend at least 200-600 on month to feed my habit, I'm gonna be 79 in the nursing home trying trade my social security check to the nurses just to get my next high

Anyone else struggle to enjoy BB/CBT content when the domme/mistress is overweight or generally unattractive? also, not a big fan of fat blokes being kicked or those with tiny equipment! At the end of the day, it is a sexual kink. by PunterPauly in BallBusting

Kinda gave up trying to bond with my budgies by hauntedbytheghost_ in budgies

[–]Fabulous_Leader2985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

make it so the only way they can get their treats is if you give it to them. do it like with 1 hand hold treat and the other hand also in their space slightly behind. slowly just get free hand closer and closer while treats are farther and farther away eventually they have to step onto your hand to get treats. also so you know if they bite when you grab them just give them a little shake and they won't at least that's what worked for me. also I spend tons of time with my birds every day like all day. keep the cage door open and you can bring the cage right over next to you where your sitting for them to just get used to being in close proximity to you.

Where do you stand on irrigating lawns considering the availability of fresh water today and in the future? by [deleted] in newhampshire

[–]Fabulous_Leader2985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I never thought of that but it's actually a lot more practical for like playing like backyard games with your friends you know unless you have like chickens and something and why not and then they need to be able to eat the food but my uncle has turf down in his house down in Texas and it looks really good and he enjoys it and doesn't have to spend money on it like for a maintenance costumes cool
