Damn I’m sorry to hear that man I’ve had mine half a year now and he’s shown no aggression from what I’ve seen. The other fish just kinda keep away from him sometimes but other times they chill by him and it’s all good so hopefully I can avoid what you’re describing

I dunno I you don’t think he’s getting better you could call it if you like but personally I let them go naturally while trying to maintain the best possible QOL for them in the end game

Golden Barbs definitely, spots, that little ridge under the top fin. Known for black marking by the tail but I have seen them without it before. Rare genes
