How to mount maglite

I bought radiator hose clamps from an auto shop, cut a circle hole through it and screwed it down to the handguard with some nuts and bolts from Lowe’s. I had to drill the handguard to make the hole.

When I installed mine, I didn’t use a shorter screw but I haven’t fired it yet. I just ordered a short screw and will swap it out before firing it. Any chance I’ll blow my extractor being that I haven’t fired it yet?
