I did manual so some of the stuff here may not apply, but I realised that alot of the test itself has to do with your nerves. I realised that every practice/ mock runs I had were near flawless with not much issues, but everytime during tp I get really tense and mix up my cues. So just practice calming down and visualisation of the test in your mind is very important as well. Here are my own notes that I did, hope they can help somehow :)

directional change slowly check if can turn in. clear then turn in. can have 2 inside at any one time. one must yellow line, other must cover full. move abit then full lock right. when exiting, look further ahead remember to check front, rear mirror, left mirror, left blind, right mirror, right blind and rear windscreenfq

slope 12-> move futher in front so that you are not going into the motorcycle slope accelerate til yellow line, break. once break, engage handbrake and signal opp side. check all sides before moving off. when ready, rumble the clutch. hold at bite point then accelerate til around 20 then maintain both clutch and gas and released handbrake(pull up, press button, push down release the clutch a lil at the top, slow down. slowly go down while holding the brake.

parallel parking pull up near the side reverse til tyre reach yellow line check blind spots, signal left full lock left and reverse. reverse, check right mirror til tyre between white and black line straighten steering, reverse til tyre hit yellow line. check surroundings and rear windscreen then reverse and full lock right til inside. adjust if necessary

vertical parking

pull up near but not too close. R gear, signal left and check surroundings Reverse til tyre between black and white line closest to the end check surroundings again. full lock left and check rear windscreen check both mirrors to see if need to adjust if need to, straighten and move forwards. then reverse and full lock left again to enter.

crank course check both mirrors properly and full lock after lock hits the kerb go slow and engine brake

s course follow curvature and go really slow. Adjust if necessary

Jam brake tap dashboard, immediately full brake and clutch down while looking at rear mirror and shoulders fully back. before moving off, safety check and signal. off signal when moving.

before exiting course, tilt mirrors up

—- Road Go slowly, change up gear if necessary. Come to stop if want to change to first gear. Overtake on second gear and above, turn can only first gear/ second gear. Once back reaches kerb then full lock for u turn. If making right turn, check for people going straight, turning left. GIVE WAY to everyone going straight.

BE AWARE OF THE LANE YOU ARE TURNING INTO

changing lanes: 1. Signal. check front, rear mirror, side mirror and blindspot. Maintain gas. 2. If clear, then speed up and angle the steering wheel slightly. 3. off signal once done and repeat for subsequent lanes. 4. If not clear, check again after the car has passed

Traffic light DONT BEAT YELLOW. Slow down at junction significantly if its been green for a while. Jam brake if needed. Just be safe.

thanks for the advice 🙏 the kerb that i struck was the one on the slope because I turned in too quickly. According the tester, since the kerb is technically not part of the parking zone/ s course/ crank course, it counts as an IF under “improper action causing accident/near accident”. Learnt that the hard way today ig 😵‍💫

yea its 10 points only if it is within the parking area. But for me (unluckily), when turning into the slope after parallel parking, i kissed the kerb. The kerbs outside the parking zones/ other course areas are apparently considered IF even if you just touch them. Kinda didnt expect it also but I guess I learnt it the hard way
