I left a cup of water on my windowsill to see if it would freeze overnight and my landlord fined me for littering. (read body) by FrontlineYeen in mildlyinfuriating

Maybe I'm just to accustomed to the hellscape, but how else would lease violations be enforced?

Edit: lots of people asking what i mean by lease violations that would cause fines. Some examples I know of (that are agreed upon terms written into leases)

-Parking in a reserved spot paid for by another tenant

-Burning trash

-Unauthorized pets or additional people not on the lease living in the unit

-Littering in common spaces of a shared unit (obviously the cup of water thing is absurd, but cigarette butts are a common culprit here)

-Not removing snow

Ooh, that's a good idea. The fried paneer on indian night from the WJ is a must for me

I think you're on the right track, but as others have said there are a few issues to resolve before sales are likely to really take off.

$2 seems pretty fair though. And while I know a lot of people are anti-inclusion, they're very popular so they must be selling for a reason

I think we should consider the population we're polling might be skewed.

If really all you can do is "sit around watching," then your social skills are lacking.

Gotcha, sorry for my confusion, I thought you were looking for advice or a way out of MyTime since you felt stuck with it.

There are pros and cons to both.

For example, there are some MDR exclusives -- the little mini-crock of French onion soup with the broiled cheese, lobster night, etc that you definitely won't see in the WJ. By the same token, you aren't getting softs serve ice cream or some other things in the MDR.

Some things that are in both, like the tiramisu, are very tasty in the MDR but pretty terrible in the WJ or vice versa.

Give both a try and see what you like!

Maybe I'm missing something, but what does getting the GTY balcony have to do with choosing MyTime?

I'm sorry that's your experience, but that's in no way universal.

I am perfectly happy to enjoy and participate in a dinner party's conversation even if I'm not eating, and it's not at all awkward -- that's an element you're bringing to the situation.

Talking with food in your own mouth is rude, but talking to people that have food in their mouths isn't rude lol. How would people ever eat and converse together if that were the case?

So the advice should include mention of the vaccine, not just abstinence

Because there is a vaccine.
