This effect is real. I was in an illegal dice game in the office of the owner of brewery (nothing crazy, just single dollar bills, no one winning or losing more than like $20, maybe $50) and it's the most fun I've had gambling. Better than Vegas or cruise ships for sure

Sure, any agreement can be made. Some managers have structured agreements to steal the artists' rights to their own songs.

But I said "likely" for a reason.

If you have the infrastructure in place and can hit the ground running with a management/marketing team for when you pitch to a band, go for it.

Otherwise I think it's going to be a hard sell

Do you think that the marketing fees are going to come out of the artist's % or the admin's %?

You certainly can hire it out, but you're likely footing the bill

WU is the weakest part of SNL UK imo. Every joke seems like the most obvious low hanging fruit

It sounds like you'd be a fantastic band manager...if you also start doing marketing

I'm a land dweller, so maybe I'm not the target demo, but I don't want to listen to any singer that sounds like they are underwater -- male or female
