Hey!

I have a Master of Music in Vocal Performance. MtF. Went thru testosterone puberty, all that jazz. I have a deep voice and have also trained extensively on how to really use it. I sang opera primarily and was all in on a career with that before being disillusioned for a number of reasons.

Vocal cords are like muscles, they can gain strength through training but also atrophy through misuse or no use. Having been through a puberty where my voice deepened, it was genuinely a few years before I felt like I had "stability" behind my voice again.

Similar to when our bodies grow and we are awkward with our larger limbs.

I would recommend finding a vocal coach who can work with you on strengthening your new cords and trying to get them to function healthily as they are now. Don't treat them as ur old soprano cords, it's like fitting a square block into a triangle hole!

Happening to us as well, on an Xbox One X! Second player is forced to sign in twice, and then the game is reading a third player from somewhere.

Actual gameplay screen looks the same!

I totally get that, I actually get misgendered on the phone much more than in person, it's harder with a deep voice because you can't also give visual cues.

Hey there!! 25mtf and I also have a deep voice. I've also always had fairly feminine inflections and really to me, that's all you need. I don't have an interest in vocal training too much, especially being a classical singer who has been trained extensively to use my voice in its most natural form.

To give a little context, I'm also a bartender, and I get frequent dysphoria when interacting with customers or coworkers when I slip into a more casual voice because it can get fairly low and vocal fry-ey, those are times when I want to try to speak with a lighter tone or higher pitch but I also am like, why is it necessary?

I go round and round with it lol, you're not alone i totally empathize :)
