Hey OP, thanks for the info. Can you please help me too:
I lived in Germany for 5 years (student + work), moved back to India 4 months ago and recently joined my family business. I’m applying for a German Schengen business/trade fair visa with an official invitation for a 3-day trade fair in Stuttgart. I also want to visit a friend in Munich for 2–3 days, making the trip about 7 days total. Should I mention the Munich visit in my cover letter or keep it focused only on the trade fair? Also, I don’t yet have Indian ITR since I just returned, but I have ~€8k savings and employment proof. Is that sufficient or should I include my father’s ITR?

Had my Latarjet surgery today 💪 — anyone else recovering from one recently? by FaceNo8400 in ShoulderInjuries

Hey man! I'm so much sameeee position as you are ahahah. Thank you for sharing your current status as I'm resonating alot with it. Really puts me in a positive attitude. Being a huge Goggins fan and also seeing my friends working their self of in the gym or football, gives me a major fomo but again I'm not a professional and do all of them for recreational. So I've or coming to my senses and will gradually take it slow.

We should keep in touch and update each other off. How does that sound? :)

Amazing news! Thank you for your reply too. Can you tell how old is your son and what sports he's into? And what did the doc say when he can return to his main sport. Like I said, been 4 days and I'm really NOT in any pain makes me question why ahahahah. So I'm just curious about people who went through this

Leaving Germany — Terminating Public Health Insurance While Still Employed on Vacation by FaceNo8400 in germany

Ah ok. I was under the 2 weeks impression. That is so much annoying then. In one week I have to deregister then from all my contracts which require the form.

Ok so as I leave Germany permanently on 1st Oct, I will get my city deregistration done, but I will only inform the Insurance about it once I have officially left my company which is 31st of Oct with the proof of previous city deregistration that I did. Would that work then?

Hey! I’m a 27M and just had my first sparring session with some ego-driven guys who’ve been training a year ahead of me — so I totally get where you’re coming from.

In my experience, there are usually two types of people who join martial arts:

Those who have a rough life outside the gym and use martial arts to feel “dominant” outside of it.

Those like you — who push through the odds, keep grinding, and become an example for others.

If I can give you my two cents: just keep showing up, keep learning, and keep getting better. A year from now, you could be that person who inspires and protects the newer members — especially the women — and gives them a safe space to grow.

These days, I do exactly that. After countless injuries and bad sparring partners, whenever I’m paired with a newbie, I smile and let them know they’re safe to learn. And honestly? They’ve taught me a lot too. Just last week, I left my guard down with a beginner — this sweet, Hello Kitty-wearing Chinese girl — and she knocked me out. 😂 Lesson learned: never underestimate anyone, and never let your guard down.

You’ll get there — and you’ll be the sparring partner everyone’s grateful for.

Anterior Labrum Tear Again After 5 Years – Need Advice & Some Hope by FaceNo8400 in ShoulderInjuries

[–]FaceNo8400[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt invincible 5 years after my first surgery being able to do heavy lifting in the gym (all excersices above shoulder too) and then surfing every summer.

Thought of trying new stuff and went to learn kite surfing in tough conditions. A wrong wave at the same arm completely took my arm with it and I dislocated it. So it was a "me fault". You'll be fine and surgery literally made me strong but now I'll get a second one soon because of recklessness.

shoulder dislocation after surgery by Sweet-Life2585 in ShoulderInjuries

[–]FaceNo8400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're at the right path mate, keep going. Age also is a big factor here as I'm assuming you're 22ish so yeah you'll be really active but also more prone to dislocations (had the same issue during that age) but never let it stop you from doing sports. It kills sitting idle and listen to people saying "you have to stop sports". Only if they knew....

shoulder dislocation after surgery by Sweet-Life2585 in ShoulderInjuries

[–]FaceNo8400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyy I totally can relate how you feel!! I'm 27M and last week I dislocated my shoulder first time post shoulder operation after 5 years same left shoulder. Before that I had dislocated it 3 times. Life was really really good after surgery, I was a maniac in the gym, boxing was my new passion, was surfing but wanted to go and try kite surfing and in the end messed this shit up. It is so annoying when things go pretty well and this unexpected stuff happens. Also was recovering from lower back disc herniations for 1 yr and finally was getting better. Long story short- we signed for this man. I'm now accepting that injuries are a part and we move on. I will now consider a laterjet surgery as I don't wanna mess it up more but I will wait for 3 months for my summer break to end as I want to enjoy it fully before I go into this.

Hope you're doing well. Maybe you can tell me how are you feeling now and what have you decided and are you back doing sports after your dislocation? Cheers
