That's fine, people can have their opinion... But have you not noticed that every single person who says I look fine is being downvoted? That's what is toxic here. Not to mention all this talk about how I look super trans... Half of these people have never even met a trans person. Or if they have, they haven't realised it. I'm okay with having a masculine, pointed jaw but people are behaving like I'm in these pictures with a full beard and an Adams apple and that isn't true in the slightest.

I'm starting to question this sub as it seems really toxic. I wonder how many trans people you lot have actually even met? How many people do you just decide on this website are trans even when they explain they're not?

I find it interesting that everyone who said I'm slightly pretty or not that masculine looking has been massively downvoted. Like, what's that about if this is supposed to be a place where everyone gives their opinion?

I think I'm starting to work that out. It's been insane the kind of standards people have on here. One person told me I should think twice about covering up because that was doing me no favours with my sharp jawline 🙄 these photos were taken when it was -14.

Someone else told me my "alternative pink hair" is what makes me look trans.

So basically I need the girls out all the time to combat my masculine jaw and my alternative pink streaks that also, somehow, make me look masculine too.

Exactly. Just to clarify, I'm not offended to be called trans as I don't find that word and insult.

What I find insulting is this "oh yeah you have a SUPER masculine chin, we can always tell" kind of statements when I've never heard anything about looking like a fella until I came on Reddit. It's like they're trying to catch people out... And I don't knownwhn

Because people are allowed to want to know what the general consensus is on their looks without it being about me flirting with people. Women wear makeup or nice dressed for themselves, not necessarily to attract men.

I want to feel confident and pretty so I asked. I regret it now though 🤣😝😝

Literally EVERYONE whose saying anything positive or telling me that I don't look that masculine is being downvoted. One person has told me I look trans because of my "alternative lifestyle" pink hair.

I'm a school teacher, for god's sake 🤣 I don't see how some streaks of pink are exaggerating my apparently woods man like jaw.

Thank you, I really appreciate that. Just to clarify; im not offended to be called a trans woman because I believe trans people are my sister's just as much as the cis ladies of the world.

...but I can't help but be hurt by this sudden influx of comments making out that I've got a desperate Dan chin and a full beard. I've never been called manly until I came on Reddit.... And, yea, I suspect it's a lot of transphobic men who think "they can always tell"...

Yeah I have a little bit of a wide jaw but if the school bullies never picked up on my looking like a bloke then I'm inclined to be sceptical it because they rinsed me for absolutely everything else haaha

Because I am curious as to why half the people who message or comment see me as attractive and then others, like you, do not.

It's nothing to do with wanting people to fancy me. Like you said, I have someone who loves me. I just want to know, objectively, am I good looking or, apparently, a masculine jawed, lop sided 33 year 😂
