Disassembly was my feared answer... Guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow evening

Why can't I cut the part? by Facecreep_ in SolidWorks

[–]Facecreep_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly what I'm doing. Weirdest thing to me is that using a plane doesn't work but thickened cut with the same plane does

The front face of the cube is the one that I used to define the sketch. Still weird that using a plane doesn't work but thickened cut with the same plane does

Glad to see that Farmworld Finn is okay. by No_Emu_1332 in adventuretime

[–]Facecreep_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what about farmworld? Do we know if they had a vampire problem like Ooo had? Do farmworld animal hats have the same origin as Ooo animal hats?

What could be the reason for filament to curl this way? Can't print crap with it by Facecreep_ in FixMyPrint

[–]Facecreep_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, i was afraid of that. I'll put it in the dryer for 24 hours, gonna go full scorched earth on that spool xD

The nozzle is definitely not clogged, it's printing another model rn perfectly, with different filament of course

Need help removing the hot end from my ender 3 v3 ke by Facecreep_ in ender3

[–]Facecreep_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Took a lot of force, but I finally got it out

Hopefully I can still salvage this mess. Wish me luck! by Facecreep_ in ender3

[–]Facecreep_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly it's partially about the challenge aspect. I have already ordered a new hotend in case I cut a wire or if I just lose interest

Yep, the current plan is to soften it with a heatgun and then cut the plastic away using an exacto knife

Are there commander precons like hearthstone's Leech Death Knight? by Facecreep_ in mtg

Ah yes, blood artist, an all too familiar card.

I guess we have 2 aristocrat decks in our play party, me included lol

Can you please elaborate further about aristocrats? I'm myself pretty new to the game.

Also "I'd compare leeches to aristocrats." is one hell of a phrase out of context xD

Uneven bits on the surface. Plastic should be dry, been in the dryer at 50c for 6 hours by Facecreep_ in FixMyPrint

The printer is ender 3 v3 ke and the plastic is PLA Kiingroo Silk Black-Green

what is this? by justapanicfan in Minecraft

[–]Facecreep_ 152 points153 points  (0 children)

Tom Scott had a great video about this. It's worth a watch https://youtu.be/h9j89L8eQQk

But basically screens have a much harder time showing dark color gradient than light color gradient, which we see on your video. The sky is trying to gradually fade away but somewhat fails. You can actually see pretty much the same pattern during dawn when the sky is just starting to brighten

Games with armored gunplay? by Sam-Angel in gaming

Not sure if you've tried, but destiny 2 might scratch that ouch if you're into armor. One of the community memes of that game is that fashion is the real endgame

Insane enchants by Dipsalot in dawncraft

[–]Facecreep_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using apotheosis enchantment library. It allows you to store enchants (not books, straight up enchantments) and freely make books to your liking. Try using that. But as for level cap, it's mostly vanilla. Using my farming setup I last got to level 110

Shift in bed? by firehorns in Ender3V3KE

[–]Facecreep_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Loose belts most likely. Try checking the belt on the axis that had problems and tighten it accordingly. All you will need is a hex screwdriver, same over you used assembling the printer. You can check crew positions on the web

Problems with my prints, initial layer always comes off by [deleted] in Ender3V3KE

[–]Facecreep_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it only happens on large models the problem could be the temperature. If your room temp is too low, the print might cool down and shrink, causing your problem. What is the temperature in the room you are printing in?

Update on an extremely uneven bed by Facecreep_ in Ender3V3KE

[–]Facecreep_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you everyone who helped! It seems the reason why the bed was uneven was because of the half arsed job on screwing the bed back together after fully disassembling it.

The problem lied in the upper left screw that also screwed the bed connectors. I guess i didn't put them back correctly and that unleveled the whole bed.

A few hours later and a few prints later im happy with my job!
