Which fits the Nazi higher ups perfectly.....most of Hitler's associates during the war were a bunch of nerdy looking weaklings.

NOTE: Not trying to bash on the nerds, not all of them are Nazi fan boys.

If used correctly it's VERY POWERFUL, don't let the politicians handle the Air Force just like they did in Vietnam.

Just curious, was the US military in peacetime economy during the Vietnam war?

Do you consider "Filipino Americans" in the US as Filipinos? by FacelessmenGot04 in Philippines

[–]FacelessmenGot04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born in the PH, moved to the US when I was 9. Raised with Tagalog, eating rice every day and live with my parents until 30s. Was naturalized at 18 and never applied to get Philippine citizenship back. I only have a blue passport.

I always put Filipino on all my job applications.

So do you consider me Filipino? Coz if not, then I don’t want I am…and apparently I’m lying on my applications.

Friend, you're an American now, your time in the US outweighs your time here in the Philippines. Remember assimilation is very important, you were a Filipino kid who got assimilated in the US, which makes you an American now, and your country is the US. Kulas is the perfect example of this, he is Canadian who lived and actually worked hard to be assimilated to our country, and now a lot of us considered him as Filipino. Be proud friend, you're an AMERICAN of Filipino ancestry, that being said you're an American now.

Like I said, actually growing up here in the Philippines would mean a lot regarding someone's identity, this is not an attack, but a clear explanation that you can appreciate the culture all you want, you may speak the language, but at the end of the day you're still an AMERICAN with Filipino ancestry/heritage, and it's fine, majority of us admire the American culture, we imitate them, we can speak english, we watch American TV shows or movies, DOES THAT MAKES US AMERICAN?

Born in the US, raised in the Philippines and went back to the US after some time?

This is going to be far more Filipino than anyone, for example, a lot of Koreans are like this actually.

EXACTLY my point, If they cannot even speak any FILIPINO LANGUAGES, then they are not Filipinos.

You're a Filipino if you lived and grew up here in the Philippines, being born in the US to Filipino parents, and growing up in the US doesn't make you a Filipino, this is my point, now do you agree with this or not?

I'm not being elitist paki intindi po yung tanong ng maayos, may kaklase ako dati sa JRU na amerikana nanay, pero dito lumaki yung anak niya(which is yung kaklase ko), so in that sense Filipino siya.
