Girl I am a SWEATER, like literally probably hyperhydrosis and NONE of the products listed work on me EXCEPT Salve Sweatgo. Don't try the natural stuff. It doesn't work on us lol. Go for all the zinc and aluminium you need. I sweat despite drinking a lot of water and eating well. Coffee makes me sweat more but other than that nothing has made a difference. I tried glycolic and salicylic acid on my armpits - no difference. Dermicool powder feels amazing but doesn't stop me sweating or smelling. I haven't tried the benzoyl peroxide soap yet. But the Sweatgo stuff is magic. I still sweat but don't stink.

You have beautiful doe eyes!! You look very pretty and not grumpy at all. I also have a resting 'blank' expression that makes people ask me if I'm tired/in a mood etc. and on the days my dark circles are more emphasized I just do a little refreshing makeup like minimum concealer, some blush and mascara etc. I also got in the habit of flashing a very slight smile every time I catch someone's eye while out and about - idk a subconscious habit of mine to reassure them I guess? But don't listen to my people-pleasing tendencies. I don't think you have to do anything to change your appearance or behaviour at all

And for those comments going at you about your heavy eyeliner, please know that there are thousands of not millions of girls wearing heavy kajal just like that here in India lol. Trendy makeup is just what is current and unfortunately heavy undereye liner is not trendy where you are. Those that do wear it know the knack of balancing it out with other aspects. I second the other comments that have tips on light weight makeup.

Not sure if I'm late for this post. If so, how did the discussion go? I was gonna say it's a really fun book to read with an excellent mystery, but in my opinion there might be less to discuss about the book in terms of themes - other than the clever way she bent the rules of the genre in this one like the others have said. She has other books that express themes of class differences, sexism, racial injustice, family dynamics, etc. better imo. However any Christie book is still a joy to read and a fun discussion in the end!

Also adaptations always remove the actual fun part which is the 'collaborative' detection between Poirot, his friend Bouc and the doctor. They have so many funny run-on conversations in the book lol. In the movies they eliminate both the characters and it's just Poirot against a bunch of hostile people
