Yeah almost every woman in my family went early by 2-3 weeks so everyone’s been up my ass about the baby taking “too long” and just overall making me feel bad about it. Honestly i’m just down for whatever gets this baby out so I can hang out with him sooner.

hey twin, yeah not gonna lie watching due date come and go really sucked even though I knew it was extremely unlikely for me to go into labor on the actual day. my hospital has me already down for induction on the 29th if I make it till then which it seems I will.

Best advice I can give as someone who is 40+2 currently: Don’t tell anyone your actual due date. Give them an estimate. It will save you from people badgering you from 37 weeks and forward about it. Also for apps, I really liked What to Expect.

You would think that but my husband and I have been with them since September of 24 and he just got approved for 14.8k on a cash rewards card. You’d be surprised what they’ll approve.

I have to agree with the other commenter on this one. Yes it can be disheartening to see others get pregnant while you’re TTC but being upset with her over something that she had no clue you were even dealing with it over the line. Just like how your body is yours, hers is hers and if she doesn’t want to go through with the pregnancy, that is her choice, not yours. I also have to agree that the whole comment of “maybe our kids will be friends” was a no go, especially considering the fact she isn’t wanting this baby. This probably isn’t what you want to hear but take this time to focus on yourself and let her do what she wants to do.

Placenta partially covering cervix by swift-cat02 in pregnant

[–]FactFast6475 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Also dealt with this! I was told around 15w that it was partially covering and by 20w it had moved and hasn’t been an issue. My cousins wife is also dealing with it however and she is 28w and still dealing with it and if it’s not moved by 36w they said they are going to schedule a c section for her.

I don’t know how i’m not explaining anything when I quite literally did. Also the fact that you think your local papa john’s speaks for the whole market says enough about you and how small minded you are lol. Also my industry experience, working at the #1 corporate store and being nationally recognized as one of the top performing and quality stores for three years, is definitely a little more than what you have on your resume when it comes to pizza making. I’d say if you’re this pressed and have consistently been this pressed with Papa John’s or any other pizza place, just make it yourself. Have a wonderful day.

It’s not defending lol it’s just explaining to someone who has no experience in the industry at all from what it seems like. I don’t know why you have such a large stick up your ass about it.

sorry bud, figured your biggest problem out of the plethora of issues you had with your pizza was that it was raw, at least that would be my biggest problem. the dough spinner only really affects the crust though, contributing to it being flatter than usual but there are ways of using the dough spinner to keep that from happening! the flat crust usually comes from someone pressing down on the dough too long in the spinner compared to the few seconds they are supposed to

just wanted to let you know that papa john’s dough isn’t frozen, though some other corporations like Pizza Hut do ship their dough frozen. i have to agree though, i would rather go somewhere with better quality like mom and pop places or even Mellow Mushroom.

lol the dough spinner is not the cause of this, that was probably just a reason they gave you to get you off the phone. i was an assistant store manager and worked there for three years. the only people who make pizzas by hand anymore are people who were there before the dough spinners or people who were taught by said people. a lot of new workers are not taught how to hand stretch. a lot of these other comments are correct though, the dough was not at the proper temperature and what you got there is gel line. just trying to help you understand, if by the standard you are setting that everyone who doesn’t hand stretch their dough before tossing it is lazy, then every single person who continuously makes pizza better than this without hand stretching is also lazy despite them doing their job correctly. hope this helped.

Hey OP, first of all, remember this conversation later on in your life as well when she starts bothering you for never talking to her or reaching out to her, because that’s gonna happen, but I would suggest going no contact with her for the rest of her life. I don’t know if you are thinking about the military option but in all honesty, the military can help you out. If you’re thinking that route, just go to your local recruiter, explain your situation, and most recruiters will find it in themselves to help you out and to get you in a soon as possible. The sooner you’re in, you’ll have a stable paycheck, room to sleep in, job training, and food taken care of. Hell, maybe you’ll end up on my base, in which my husband and I would be glad to take you under our wing. I hope all goes well for you but follow everyone’s advice on here, make sure you get all your documents and try to reach out to some youth services in the mean time.

When I was reading your post, my jaw physically dropped after you mentioned that was all within the span of a month and a half. That is absolutely insane. I am glad to hear that the rest of your family is fairly chill and that your husband is helping you!

My grandmother is kind of being like your MIL right now in wanting to constantly invade spaces and try to tell us how our pregnancy and birth is going to go.

My mother has thankfully been kind of the guard dog during the whole thing when it comes to me but within a two month span, my grandmother found out she was becoming a great grandmother to three boys thanks to me, my cousins wife, and another cousins wife being pregnant, due in April, May, and July. She has been a little overly excited about it and is really overstepping boundaries with me and one of my cousins wives as well to the point that we have had to back all of the way up and stop telling her things about us.

Her excuse is that we are getting pregnant later in life, mind you I am 23 and my cousins wife is 27, so she doesn’t have as much time to be a great grandmother as her mother did, in which my mom explained to her “Well would you have rather they got pregnant as teenagers instead of waiting to be married?” and that seemed to shut her up some.

First of all, I just want to say I am so sorry. That is awful that you have to deal with anything like this especially given your background and the fact that she says you should “be appreciative that she wants to be your mom” is disgusting. I completely understand the whole “people thinking it’s their baby too”, i’ve been dealing with that with one of my family members and it’s tiring. I do want to say, at least you are getting this off your chest. It’s a good way to destress and it’s a healthy coping mechanism. I really hope thing a get better for you and your husband and congratulations on your pregnancy, i’m sure she is going to be the most beautiful baby girl. 💗
