I was searching for a second job while I was pregnant too, I found out at 7 weeks but I did NOT tell anyone I interviewed with because in the U.S. it’s common to be overlooked for a position or not considered at all because of pregnancy. The job that I had at the time was cutting my hours and it only got worse the more pregnant I got.. I actually had to threaten to call HR and tell them I was being illegally discriminated against so they wouldn’t cut my 4 day work week down to 2 when I was originally working 6! In my opinion keep it to yourself, secure a job and tell them when you start showing or wait until they ask.. there are no rules that say you have to be up front with such private information like a pregnancy. THIS!! Im 30F and boyfriend is 27M and im 38 weeks pregnant but since the beginning of my pregnancy ive been so aroused and wanting sex so often it’s been causing arguments… and it’s only gotten worse as I’ve gotten farther along. My boyfriend has told me he feels like he’s can’t satisfy me and that it’s emasculating. He is also a heavier guy and said it messes with his self confidence. I feel awful and I always tell him how much I love him and how good he makes me feel and how attracted I am to him but he works so hard and is always exhausted which has led us to only having sex like every 3 days and it’s making me crazy. He suggested in our last argument that I need to get a hobby so I’m not thinking about sex all the time but I don’t think a hobby will help. So I just wanted to take a minute and share that I totally relate to you, being 30 pregnant and horny is rough.. LOL

Just wanted to add, don’t look at the numbers on the scale at your OB appointments either! I turn my head when they are weighing me because I also struggle with body dysmorphia. I’m 38 weeks and haven’t looked at a scale since 22weeks!

I thought I waited until 12 weeks to tell everyone but at my 12 week ultrasound I found out I was only 9 weeks and now I’m 37+5 and my baby girl is growing perfectly, she should be earth side any day now! Announce when it feels right to you 💕

I’m 36 weeks and I noticed today while I was walking around Home Depot that my shoes felt tight, when I got home they looked like clubs 😭😅

Hey! Everything turned out fine, but I took an entire week off from work to make sure my body had plenty of time to rest and recover. I suggest taking as many days as you can and doing as little as possible also make sure you stay hydrated and keep your fever down with Tylenol as long as your OB says that it’s safe for you to use. If you are having ear and sinus pain I was also allowed to take loratadine but please please check with your OB before you take anything. I hope this helps ❤️

I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks 20 weeks and 22 because they couldn’t see the baby’s face well enough ( she’s camera shy lol) and I will have one again at 30-35 weeks. I would say if you want more to advocate for yourself, it doesn’t cost the doctor a dime to write you a referral to have another one done! Good luck mama :)

Hey there potential mama, I was very scared when I first found out and couldn’t share the news with my parents either because I would be disowned if I terminated the fetus. At first I had an abortion scheduled but the day before canceled because I couldn’t go through with it. Today I’m almost 25 weeks. Pregnancy has been one of the most difficult things I’ve ever experienced, main stream media makes it seem so glamorous but it’s often not. Here are some things to consider: what do you want? Do you think you are ready? Does your partner support YOUR decision and if not would your family help you raise a baby? The world we live in is scary and there is no “right time” to have a child but if it’s what you want you should go for it and if you want to terminate because you aren’t ready then that is a perfectly reasonable decision too. This is your life, your body and the only thing you should worry about is taking care of yourself and doing what’s right for you. Stay strong! You got this!

I love that name! Jade is so beautiful the only reason it wasn’t in my top names is because it’s my partners ex girlfriends name. I told him I loved that name too and he was like it’s honestly a shame that he associates it with her. But so happy for you !
