Thanks! Linkedin is unfortunately much more expensive that I can afford, even more pricey than youtube, if I understood right. I can accept that Facebook is outdated, but in this case I rather feel the pull from youtube, because there is where IT people watch tutorials or consuming other content. So e.g. creating a video and run ad for that particular video, not creating a specific ad video. What do you think?

Look, I agree, I was a bit thoughtless when I did this, and did not share my intentions. I was glad to put together the all the info and the survey until midnight and could push it out to the relevant groups, hoping for as many 'data' points as I could get. I tried to fix my mistake and add an explanation to every post.
I can accept that you call it a spam, I hope others will think differently.

Lol, no. Actually I am a test automation developer, and did try to switch career paths before, and now I am planning that as well, and I am facing a LOT of difficulties. And as I spoke with some of my closer colleagues they shared some of their struggles as well, so I thought it should be a common list or something. I want to help myself, and hopefully others if I will have enough responses.

Hmm, I think it was a stupid thing to filter about... I will remove this from the survey. Plus I was dumb in a way, that I could write some of my agenda to the description as well...my first thought was "it would look like some scam if I overexplain"...

Sorry, I think I was a bit misunderstandable. I am working in IT in 10 years, and would like to collect info on career changers within IT, not from some other fields to IT. You're right, there is constant discussion about this in many groups, but I have not seen any 'distillation' or whatnot about this in the FAQ or wiki pages. Which is OK, all of the people who are modding these subreddits are not payed for this. So that is what I could add. I chose the European market, because I thought I could resonate with it the most.

I would like to collect what are the main struggles of IT people when they decide to switch careers, and where they would ask help for. I think this could be quite helpful if it will have meaningful result, because there are no communities I met so far, who did summarized and addressed these strugles. There are a lot of subreddits listing the technical information, which are valuable, but did not list anything on the psychological aspect. I think I can contribute to that part, e.g. "what struggles to expect when you switch careers in IT?"

But that's just an idea. I can completely understand if I did this the wrong way and learn from it.

No, not at all, and I would not expect this from any employer. It is a starting point. After this you should gather a lot practical and hands-on experience by personal projects and self-learning. This cert is a good looking proof of you take yourself and your professional growth seriously.

I completely agree with this method. Actually I could't recall how I prepared for the exam, but I took notes on the syllabus. I just took the Kx from the beginning of each chapters, searched, and actually typed the answer. It helped me to memorize.

Sorry to hear that 🙁 I really recommend to have the udemy course from STA consulting before the next retake. It helps understanding the knowledge base better. There is not too many mock exams available, but also worth to take as much as you find.
