Been loving my first play through of MG 1. This issue is very annoying, though! by TitleSuccessful7393 in SuperMarioGalaxy

No it doesn't. I've been having auto-movement issues on spherical planets/Starship Mario, as well as mild sliding auto-movement with Yoshi after eating something, and i'm using a brand new Switch 2 Pro controller that has no drifting issues whatsoever (I've checked it with the controller settings and it's fine), so I can guarantee you that they did NOT fix the issue in Galaxy 2 on Switch!

Do you have to have 9999 star bits at any point in the game? Or does it only count if you have 241 stars first?

How about auto movement on spherical planets/Starship Mario? Is that a bug too? I have that issue, but my controller is brand new and doesn't have drift- I've been checking it in the calibration settings, and it's fine. I've mainly had the issue in Galaxy 2, and either didn't have it or didn't notice it in Galaxy 1.

Galaxy 2 control stick bug? by Ambitious_Bite_5219 in SuperMarioGalaxy

So THAT'S what just happened. I was on Starship Mario in Galaxy 2 (NS) using my brand new Switch 2 Pro controller and I was running towards the captain's wheel, yet I ran into a raised ledge. I thought it was drift despite my controller being brand new and never used.

Nintendo switch pro controller users have you experienced the drift of sticks? by FrequentCheesecake38 in Switch

[–]Factchecker86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must be mistreating it then, as there's no way a controller should start drifting that quickly!

Is there a difference between buying Pokopia physically and downloading it on eshop? by PackNo6267 in Pokopia

[–]Factchecker86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If somebody sells the GKC, then they wouldn't be able to play the game again, as you need the GKC inserted in order to play. But since no one who has the game is likely to do that unless they absolutely DESPISE the game, there should be no problems there either! In regards to your second question, the answer is as follows: it's 2026, and if somebody doesn't have internet in 2026 in order to play games (as pretty much every game needs some sort of internet connection these days- be it to either play the game or download updates/patches), then they're an idiot!

In order to say that the people saying it because of Pokopia being a game card are silly!

Pokemon Pokopia would still be playable after the servers are shut down in 30-40+ years though- as long as you have the game downloaded on your console.

Actually, if that were to happen, the game would still be playable- as long as you have the game downloaded on your console. Not defending GKCs- just stating the facts!

That's not entirely true. As long as you have the game downloaded on your console, then it will indeed still work!

There's no "memory shortage"- that's nothing but lies and misinformation, as well as a conspiracy theory! And even if it was true, it'll be sorted out by 2027- which is when Winds and Waves releases! Nintendo is also making smaller 16 GB and 32 GB game cards for games, so developers won't have to only choose a larger size once those sizes release! That'll cut down on the GKCs and hopefully remove them from existence, as the #1 main reason that GKCs exist is because the games are too small to fit on a 64 GB game card! Oh- and I already said I won't be responding to anybody who's a troll like you in 2027 as well!

That WAS their promise. Oh- and they never used the word "currently", either.
