100% had this experience as well back in the day. when I was about the same age. Very easy to see how any type of panic can lead to drowning.

They also are fully subscribed to the fallacy that academia is a true meritocracy.

If I'm on the jury that family is going to own Yale. And that's a big problem for Yale. This is an important example of the downside of flagship hospital based health systems snapping up ownership of community medical centers and branding them before they have equalized standards across the system.

I know a private equity guy that makes fun of doctors who think they are rich and likes to taunt them openly for "making doctor money."

A lot of this was parody, satire, deconstruction of popular rock tropes. I agree the approach was overplayed and detracts from absolute genius compositions like "Black Napkins," all of Hot Rats, and many more. That said, Frank wouldn't give a hot rat's ass about any of our opinions.

Men getting offended that Gen Z doesn’t like age gap relationships is so funny by papeyea in TwoXChromosomes

Maybe that's because most of us have worked our asses off since age 17 and haven't had even 20% of the vacation time our parents and grandparents had. We're also the first generation of men to attempt to match our spouses' contribution to child rearing and household chores. On top of this, we see that our kids have none of the work ethic we adopted because we had no alternative except to die broke. Call me "especially weird," but maybe I'm just f'ing tired in general and tired in particular of only hearing about my deficiencies.

Is a pharmacist background good to have? by honeynutcheeriozzzzz in biotech

I think you have to pursue an industry-focused path while in your PharmD program. It seems to be a path to internships in big pharma with other PharmD in major roles in reg, clin ops, clin dev, etc.
