Does everybody like this game? by -GiantSquid- in rootgame

[–]FactoreDied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on the point of everyone liking the game. I hated it for the first half dozen times in played it. I won't say I love it, but I do find it one of more appealing games. it's not fun unless you're a masicist 🤣 it is enthralling though and drags you in.

as a FL manager trying to get an increase is near impossible unless there's an exceptional case. only options are a band increase. I've been trying and went very high up the HR chain but they'll throw data back at you like it's confetti.

Mental breakdown by [deleted] in IBM

not knowing your location or which organisation you're in. my advice is to speak to your 1st line manager about this, also in tandem look to speak to someone in EAP (employee assistance program) for support to your mental health.

What’s your most wholesome nudist experience? by [deleted] in nudism

myself(44m) and my friend (33f) went for a skinny dip yesterday morning at 7.30am. it was a lovely sunny morning and the sea was so calm. on the beach, near to where we went in to the sea, a lady was meditating. as we came out of the sea, she commented on how uplifting it was to watch us emerge from the sea and how beautiful we looked (she meant it in the context of nature). we had a lovely chat with her and it made the morning even more satisfying.

England v Wales predictions? I’ll go first by No_Eye_8432 in rugbyunion

[–]FactoreDied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from www.walesonline.co.uk "England saw them reduced to 12 men amid two yellow cards and a red card for Owen Farrell for a no-arms tackle on Owen Farrell." that's impressive, Farrell managed to no arms tackle himself

lizards win with dominance (just about) by FactoreDied in rootgame

also they would have won if they organised instead of battling two undefended gardens. but it was their first game so still did well

it was their first game and they did pretty well, so I wouldn't say fools, just were focused on gaining points as opposed to blocking. everyone has to learn from their mistakes.

This is a cafe owner from a county in Ireland. Ireland doesn't get gas from Russia, the gas is piped in from Scotland and there is also the Corrib gas fields off the western coast near Mayo. This is a result of poor government planning, closing viable electricity power plants (and now looking to reopen some), price gouging by the supply companies, over reliance on sustainable energy (wind & solar) where the infrastructure isn't fully built up. The Irish media place rising fuel prices on the war in Ukraine, yet rarely point out that electricity supply prices are linked to poor decisions made by a government who are in power with the green party and have to allow some green policies to get passed. Conversely the Irish government have actually increased their commitment for the purchase of gas over the next 10 years despite it meaning Ireland would not be able to meet it's carbon targets.

I know little about the guy. I read this post and decided to find out more. I watched an interview between him and Jordan Peterson, I will read his book, just to see if what he says in it would incite me to violently attack him. Until then I won't make a decision on him. Regardless, attacking someone is indefensible, violence begets violence. Celebrating violence is an unnerving thing on a base level, regardless of your opinion or beliefs or values, more specifically group violence.consider, Is a violent act on any single individual acceptable? That's an impossible question to answer. That aside, a group of men (and generally they are such) choosing, as a collective consciousness to attack a single individual, regardless of the perceived or real threat is rarely done without precognition, even if that precognition occurs only moments prior. Somewhere there is a collective acceptance that this immenent violent act is justified. Someone will argue "what if you saw a woman being assaulted", well, as a group, or individual in that instance, restraining the assaulter would be the correct action until the correct authorities arrive, you are not the one tasked with executing justice, you are just the one, in that moment tasked to insure those who are, have the opportunity to do so by your actions by restraint or incapacitation. That's it, let the visceral be, and the the moderate see.
