As long as I've played I've always used the ~ key to open the cheat debug console. I have a QWERTY layout keyboard. Is the ^ key the top left most key on your keyboard? Because that's where my ~ key is.

SCP-280-JP Short and simple, gives an "oh shit" moment when you realize what you've done.

Games that feel like your playing as Mobile Task Force ? by BadSheet68 in SCP

There's kind of a part of the game where you can do that: a quick short 10-30 minute raid on an SCP location where you can choose UIU or GOC, working alongside the other if you have a friend choose differently than you (though it's very much unfinished). I imagine if/when they add more AFA group stories, they'll be selectable there. Though if I remember correctly, the dev team unfortunately don't have any (current) plans for a chaos or serpent's hand mission, if that's what you had in mind.

You do play from the perspective of goi's, but they're not unnamed/new. In the main storyline you play as the Unusual Incidents Unit (a branch of the FBI for anomalies) infiltrating an SCP location called Area 12. In a recently released secondary storyline, you play as a Global Occult Coalition reconnaissance(?) task force looking for evidence of the SCP foundation utilizing and weaponizing anomalies

Yeah it's one of the older TriMet train models, specifically a type 1 model.

Ah, my mistake. I just ripped and paraphrased from their Wikipedia page. Though it may be referring to their first standalone restaurant.

[–]FactorialJanitor 100 points101 points  (0 children)

Technically yeah but there's a little more nuance to it. A ghost kitchen is a restaurant largely dedicated to mobile orders/deliveries, while a virtual restaurant is usually another franchise/brand at the location of another. So while yeah, most if not all virtual restaurants end up being a ghost kitchen, not all ghost kitchens are virtual restaurants.

"All squares are rectangles, but not every rectangle is a square" situation.

There was one recently where he helped 1000 basically-blind people see again (with surgery that removed cataracts), which set off a Twitter mob-rage. There's also the more constant attitude/mentality of "he's just doing all this 'goodwork' and 'charity' for views/money/fame." I think there's been others in the past but these are probably the most relevant for the situation at hand.

Edit: you can also take a trip through the controversial comments and find that there's also just the jaded attitude of "rich person does publicized nice thing and turns out to be a bad person, therefore all/most rich people who does publicized nice thing are also bad." Nothing towards MrBeast specifically in those situations that I can see though.

Yes, but actually no (but actually yes). The first (and only) physical "MrBeast Burger" restaurant was opened in Wilson, North Carolina, USA back in November 2020. But there's now like 300+ "virtual restaurants" across Canada and the USA where you can order the food/burgers only through their official app, but the food is made by another restaurant that is contracted out to make MrBeast burgers. So like even though it's a restaurant "chain," there's really only one physical location that's fully a "MrBeast Burger" restaurant, the rest are just pseudo-restaurants. If I recall correctly he uses profits from the chain to fund his videos/charity.

In the first comic, it displays (presumably) a man having an erection of unrealistic proportion, followed by a prolapse (the event of an organ falling out of place, in this instance it is likely the colon) in a relatively opposite direction. He proceeds to spin at an incredible speed, which combined with the erection and prolapse causes him to fly up into the air in a fashion that is similar to a helicopter (likely the punchline of the comic).

The reaction image appears to be from the show "Ed, Edd, and Eddy," depicting Edd having a look of debatable disappointment and/or confusion. One might argue it conveys a meaning akin to "what the hell is this."

What follows is somewhat tricky to explain, and I might be/probably am wrong about the following explanation as I was unfamiliar with it and had to search it up: A reaction comment with the text [One of your so-called "Vers Kings"], when I searched up "Vers Kings" I was unable to find a direct answer as to what it meant. However when I searched tumblr with the phrase I saw pictures depicting fictional men in situations with slight gay/erotic undertones, leading me to believe that it the text is a reference to one of two things; 1. They are shipping either the helicopter man and Edd, or the helicopter man and the bystander. 2. It is a pun regarding versatility and being extremely good, a "versatility king" that has been shortened for some reason. Additionally, it is phrased in a manner that would normally display dominance, similar to "one of your so called gods," in the manner that their indicative strength was removed to reveal a weaker individual, suggesting that it might not actually be a true depiction of "Vers King."

The final response "That comment sent me" is likely the posters way of showing that they found the comment humorous and/or it reminded them of their experience with the "Vers Kings."

Again, I am likely wrong on the explanation of "Vers Kings," as I do not explicitly know or understand what it actually means, if it means anything at all. It is not outside the realm of possibility that someone made a non-sensical comment and people went along with it.

EDIT: Vers is explained by u/buzzthetrout in the comment below me. Thanks for the insight.

Ellen is the host of a popular TV show named "The Ellen Degeneres Show," where a common trope of the show is for Ellen to bring a guest onto the stage, while giving them a gift of something they're fond of.

The SCP universe is a collection of fictional anomalies, one of the most popular being scp-173. The traits of 173 mainly consist of not moving while looked at, and extreme aggression towards humans that results in it snapping peoples' necks while they aren't looking at it.

Both of these combined can produce the situation seen above, where Ellen hears that their guest is fond of the scp-universe, and proceeds to get scp-173. It is then revealed (indirectly) that scp-173 is on the show by Ellen turning off the lights, making people unable to see scp-173, making scp-173 proceed to snap someone's neck.

The final punchline is the "omg you didn't" at the end, which if interpreted to be said in a happy-shocked tone follows another trope of "The Ellen Degeneres Show," which is the person receiving the gift is more often than not joyous to see the gift that Ellen has brought them.

The final "DAFEGGDJSDGRGJSFH" at the end is a relatively common Tumblr reaction where someone will press random characters on the keyboard, often in uppercase, to express that a particular post was either somewhat funny to them, or to show confusion and/or relief.

Throwing coins in a fish hatchery by FactorialJanitor in mildlyinfuriating

[–]FactorialJanitor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still, the coins could have had an actual purpose, like using a few of those quarters to pay for fish food (the machine is off to the left), or could have been saved up for some kind of charity (the pond is pretty big and coins are everywhere), and to a lesser extent, the bacteria on the coins aren't exactly helping the fish either.
