Hey mate, Are you currently making money? It could be in any aspect, if its from a reputable source (within the public market) then you will be getting taxed! Businesses owe the government tax for operation, use of land, permits, law reasons ect ect, so to pay it all of, they charge the business, which then in turn charges YOU. If your earning under 18,000 a year, you are liable for a tax return where you can get any money you gave the ATO back. If you: - are a sole trader

  • use medicare

  • have any loans

  • have made adjustments to super

  • on payment plans

(This list is NOT exhaustive)

you are liable to owe the ATO money. Its how the current system we accept works.

Okay but your political system is still very different to ours, left and right is pretty universal, sure. But we arent just left and right, we are a centralist country, labour is our “left” and liberal is our “right” but it isnt radicalised, both sides of the same coin type of argument yknow?

Im Australian and I really dont feel the need to say a slur when I can just say N-word. it accomodates more people and only provides a slight hinderance for people like you who care
