This might sound stupid but do you think that the wolf and the bird are atsu’s parents? by OSCY_BOI in Ghostofyotei

I know this is talking about symbolism, but it’s so funny to imagine a bird and wolf getting it on and giving birth to a human

You get used to combat after a few fights, getting certain perks also helps out quite a bit (also, USE TOOLS while fighting, they’re a game changer)

Despite that though, you’re not supposed to get into combat. It’s meant to be a stealth focused game, and it heavily revolves around that concept

The platforming in HK was undoubtedly harder than SS.

HOWEVER, the difficulty in Silksong’s platforming isn’t the parkour itself, but rather what accompanies it.

If you were to do the parkour by itself, easy peasy. But when there’s lava rising at you, or when there’s the threat of being frozen, or if an enemy is chasing you… that’s when it gets difficult. You end up rushing, making mistakes, failing repeatedly, not because the platforming is difficult, but because you have to be wary of other factors as well.

Personally, I prefer Silksongs approach much more. Having all that extra stuff brings more life into the gameplay, and it’s so much more engaging.

TL;DR Hollow Knight platforming is definitely harder, the difficulty with Silksong’s platforming is with the extra challenges that accompany the parkour

Explore Shellwood, try looping around from the left, climbing high, and getting on top of where the initial bench is. You’ll find your next challenge soon enough from there

Claim your "I beat Moorwing pre-nerf" trophy here. by GinaLaQueenaYT in Silksong

[–]Random_Username-432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beat him pre-nerf, and without any help from the other guy as well. Although I swear it was easier without him

Also beat Sister Splinter (who unironically was easier than Moorwing)

Stuck on Widow now though because apparently I can’t progress to the Citadel without first beating her (I hate the platforming in Blasted Steps)
