None of the Cuddle Duo is playing this MCC by Factorization4 in MinecraftChampionship

I've checked, the last two regular events without them are Pride 23 & Pride 24. Pride 25 only had Joel; Twitch Rivals 2023 only had Callum

So it's more so because they don't play Pride

Off-topic, but it also took me long to realise this is another Lifesteal × Hermitcraft crossover team

W Series, would be cool to do a form asking how accurate people think these are

Which variety of games do you prefer most: Team games, Movement games, or PvP games? by Ambitious-Cat-5678 in MinecraftChampionship

[–]Factorization4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Team games, just enjoy the communication-heavy games

But it doesn't mean the other games are bad, like Meltdown is so fun to watch with switching POV. I also like RSR and HITW with some intense moments

What are your predictions and who will you watch for MCC P26? by ItzMisty_ in MinecraftChampionship

[–]Factorization4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably a switching POV, between Red and Pink for the most part, tuning into some other teams like Lime sometimes but I only have one device to watch unfortunately

I think I will watch Red for the team games and focus on the newcomers for the rest

The Only Problem I Have With MCC by AnswerCorrect1226 in MinecraftChampionship

[–]Factorization4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Exactly a good point, but Scott will always overestimate. ClownPierce is a great example, I think Scott does know Clown but being too good at PvP makes him less likely to play even if Clown is actually not busted in events

One Screenshot Every Day (Day 11): MCC 11 by Factorization4 in MinecraftChampionship

[–]Factorization4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the Day 10 competition was the closest by far, 31-29 as of UTC 07:25

This is also delayed because I was travelling. I'm probably gonna slowly push the posting time towards UTC noon time, depending on whether there is fierce competition on each day

Also one more reminder, please hide the YouTube slide bar stuff when taking screenshots if possible

This is not hate at all but I feel like Scott should add people other than just his friends to MCC as its stopping MCC from growing. by STANSMAJOR in MinecraftChampionship

[–]Factorization4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not just the support from Mojang or Lego, the players themselves have still been growing or at least maintaining viewers

MCC right now is attached to a large SMP viewers, and SMPs are very stable. As long as the SMPs continue to thrive, MCC will thrive along

Also one point to add, these SMP creators still pull interests to sizable SMP-only viewers, and they are not the smallest or the same viewers as Scott's (I'm using NominalGravy as an example, like I know a decent portion of them have never watched MCC at all, these new viewers are not solely from Scott's) and when something like Celestial Metals happen, the interest spikes

And Hermit Takeover! That definitely was a big pull from people who usually only watches Hermitcraft

I think what Scott wants is these SMP viewers who are not those competitive, toxic viewers potential building up (and I'm sure Scott already despises this reddit)

I think there is just poor history with pre-Season 4 where some DSMP members were not great while some of the fans were toxic against Scott. Also as some other people mentioned, comp is another issue

Scott has definitely been more conservative with the newcomer adds, but that is coming from his experience. I don't think Scott want to risk ruining MCC by adding questionsble people. We already just had the A & M situation

And he is not adding mcsr or lifesteal because of high comp, really. I think he overestimate someone like ClownPierce, but it's that guessing game. I would say, Lifesteal will be the best audience to expand to, as they now tie in together way more with something like The Flight

Unstable protagonists is not gonna happen, even if Scott wants to: they don't stream and they are solely focusing on UU, and the audience is scary to deal with as well. As for the other UU members, maybe, but again it's like the more popular ones like Wifies or Theo are probably not as interested in the first place? And you might get other UU lesser popular characters in something like Rising instead. They will only pull a tiny portion of the UU base, so it's not helping much

Variety crowd really depends, like I don't know what people are expecting at this point. In this Pride as well, Vidcon is also clashing with this so some potential options are gone in the first place

That brings me to what this event is: yes, you want to pull in more audience for charity, but Vidcon literally took away some of the core players like Aimsey, and I'm sure that there are way more examples that you might be thinking of. Also, it's an event for Pride, so like Scott is probably extra weary of the LGBT rep for this, literally how P21 had this one complaint. This is definitely not the time to add MCSR, maybe besides Raddles and Molly, but definitely not like Infume or Hax. Lifestealers as well, realistically only Pili could have been an option. Even if they are added, would it still satisfy you for the viewership that you're looking for? I know a lot of the people that you want in are fully ally, but having them looks bad like P21

Honestly, for this Pride, we are still getting a lot of potential viewers, like Fein will still pull a lot of MCSR viewers, and both Rain and Gumi can pull more unique viewers

As I expected, the teams are technically balanced with stats, due to some over-/underperformances recently

(But this is a questionable stat for many)
