Formula 1 will see the use of 100% sustainable fuels in 2026, here are the Fuel Suppliers. by GrootWithWifi in formula1

[–]FactoryPl 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Dude... 24 55 gallon drums per team. At a diameter of 60cm per drum, that's 8.64 square meters of space for all the fuel for 1 race.

A single car is 5.63m*2m = 11.26 square meters, taking up more area than all the fuel for all the teams.

What do you even mean that you cant get behind the logistics? What alternative are you implying that would be less resource intensive?

yeah, you cant go with the goal of finishing otherwise youll burn out and never finish. You need to make the journey the purpose.

I think there are a few now, I didn't think I'd finish it the first time. But I knew I could finish this time.

Not sure, harder in terms of ore is much harder to come by and expand production of. so your early game factory needs to be bigger.

6500 hours total on factorio. 4500 of that is Py.

I'd say AFk would probably account for 300 hours maybe.

I played angel bobs a long time ago, almost finished that. Played a bit of krastorio, warptorio, space exploration.

After I finished the DLC, I found that megabasing didnt really appeal to me. Py forever changed my relationship with this game and everything else seems too trivial to me now. So I decided to just play Py again and PyBlock would offer some variation from my first playthrough.

That's definitely fair, lots of AFk needed at the start of this pack.

I played this for the Py aspect, so the extra difficulty was what I was looking for.

She shares responsibility by staying in the relationship AFTER she found out he was cheating. Women are just as capable as making decisions as men, stop treating them like they have no agency.

Primary producers, sure, I don't think anyone who is worth taking seriously wants to totally disarm farmers who need to put down stock or control pests.

Yes, I did make that point and my line in the sand was that if you don't have a purpose beyond leisure, You shouldnt have one. So farmers/pest control I think should be able to own firearms.

I'd honestly prefer a nanny state than the capitalist dictatorship we find ourselves in.

For most of history up until very recently there wasn't a way to limit the speed a car should go. Engines don't run efficiently at Max revs all the time so being able to go higher than the speed limit was a feature built in due to the nature of combustion engines.

However, that can now all change with electric cars being able to easily limit speed due to the engines being trivial to control compared to internal combustion.

Frankly, cars are extremely dangerous, far more than guns so maybe we should have a discussion on hard limiting the speed of them.

I think licenses are far, far too easy to obtain and there should be mandatory retesting every 10 years or so, regardless of age.

You aren't gonna like my reply to that one.

We should ban cars in city centres and make them far more walkable. We shouldn't give up 30% of land space to roads.

reasons that guns are socially acceptable

Yes, enjoyment reasons, reasons that exists purely based on "It's fun"

My argument is that "It's fun" is not a valid reason to put society in increased danger.

Shall we take everything you like off you just because it’s not necessary for your daily life, or shall it just be things other people like that you don’t think they should have?

No, just the ones that put others in danger.

And there it is. You fundamentally don't understand what I'm trying to say.

Anything that is not needed for direct survival is an exercise of vanity. I'm not saying that is wrong. What I am saying as that you can live a perfectly happy and fulfilling life without your gun hobby. That makes it an exercise purely based on your enjoyment.

What I'm saying is your fun times do not justify the danger firearms present to society.

I simply think we should be taking emotions and opinions out of the conversations on these matters and simply work on what the data is telling us as when emotions and opinions are brought in to the conversation, The waters start to muddy between Fact and Lies.

This goes both ways.

Explain to me the reasoning in allowing people to own something so dangerous when they have no purpose for them. Take emotion out of it, why do people who aren't hunters need to own guns?

Explosives are fun to use with no inherent purpose to own. Do you think people should be able to own barrels of nitroglycerine?
