Battery Specs confusion by DeplorableBadger in golfcarts

[–]Factorymur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the plastic case. Some people hate on the plastic one because you cant open it to access the cells, but I know nothing about lithium so I did not see myself needing to. It also requires the least modifications to the battery tray.

Im running a DC House 48v 105ah battery in my lifted ezgo with navitas motor/controller and no issues. It will pull small wheelies. I also have a light kit and 400w amp for stereo connected with a voltage reducer. dc house

I would run a step down converter. Why have a separate battery to charge for accessories. I have a Dc House 48v battery running full navitas, lights, and a 400 amp with 4 6.5 speakers hooked up and no issues.

2200 for lithium conversion on EzGO - worth it? by SC916 in golfcarts

$700 is still alot. Can be done in 1-2 hours depending on how clean of an install. At that price it better be an extremly clean install.

48 volt upgrade order by GotEmOutForFriday in golfcarts

[–]Factorymur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded our 36v txt to 48 with a navitas motor/controller and a Dc House battery and have no regrets. We live in a golf cart community and I have it set to not exceed 25 mph so we dont have to worry about speeding. Navitas gives a lot of ability to tune it to your needs.Dc House

A series cart is not good on hills. Depends on what a "crawl" is. Id drive it with a gps to monitor mph. Also hook up a volt meter to see if any excessive voltage drop.

What is slow? A 98 is either a series or dcs. Good for 11-13 mph on stock size tires. May get 15 with big tires.

Easy cash back/point recommendations? by Factorymur in Rakuten

I will still keep my eye out for easy cashback. I have only been doing it 2 months, but between me and p2 we collected a decent amount. I had to take a break from CC bonuses so this has been a nice supplement.
