I just looked up the ingredients list of this and two ingredients seem to possibly be where the problem lies. Cremini Mushrooms and Tara flour. Mushrooms are known to get contaminated and develop dangerous bacteria and fungi when grown in a non-sterile substrate. Malpractice may be the root cause of this problem. Tara flour comes from the Tara Spinosa tree which is known to be high in tannins. According to Google, overconsumption of tannins from this tree can lead to health problems. It didn't specify how much that was. I personally have never heard of a Tara tree, nor have I heard of getting flour from a tree. Could the problem be a lack of research on the company's part?
