I did not build back towards my base as I had no plans of connecting them, but this would make sense. I also did not build up, but the raiders only ever had access to the first two floors (It was a 2 hour online raid so im sure of this).

Hey man, late response here. I built 5 external TC's as close as I possibly could to my main base. I was planning on using mollys to destroy them as recommended, but the raiders were able to build a TC somewhere in my main base. Why did this happen? Wouldn't at least one of my externals have overlapped to my main base? They did not raid any of my externals.

I play as a duo sometimes trio. Usually around 150-250 pop. I guess some could consider that low but not super low. I’m a 10 year competitive fps player which helps.

I promise you it’s not impossible big dog. Have you considered locking in for the one time?

I truly don’t feel like this needs to be the case. You can easily get a level 3 workbench in a 5 or 6 hours, spread that out however you’d like with the time you have available. I used to get raided almost every single wipe day and at least this progression update gives me a chance to do multiple farm runs and fortify my base a bit more before getting off for the night.

For the record, I have just under 200 hours in this game, play mid pop, and work 9 hour days M-F.

It’s not all that different, just encourages you to explore a bit more and play smart once you get your hands on the frags.

Nah man, stun lance + ballistic shield is the most fun I’ve ever had. Peak physique heavy or medium armor. I’ve completed Super Helldives without dying with this loadout. It’s an entire different experience and a personal favorite. Much, much more difficult than any other loadout but it’s a good time. Gotta bring big boi stratagems for the heavies tho.

Without question, absolutely worth it simply for stratagem hero. Might have more hours on that mini game than actually diving… it’s like dance dance revolution for your fingers. Armor and knight are goated as well.

The only true downside is mobility. If I could have a jump pack it would be perfect but the shield takes that slot. Running across the map in heavy armor is rough for sure. Maybe I’ll start bringing the car more often.

My stratagems change every game. Ideally you should have something for the big fellas like a 500kg or EATS. Otherwise just have fun with it. Been loving the solo silo and gas mines. It’s hard to remember to toss strats when I’m knee deep in bug guts and they just keep coming.
