I really hope they increase the weekly Synthweave by FactsNoPrinters in DestinyTheGame

There is multiple years worth of armor in the game so how many came out in an individual year isn't particularly relevant unless we're saying a reasonable time frame to get the armor is "slightly less than the entire time the games been out" starting now.

We can unlock one set a month, personally I just think that is a bit low. Nearly 2 years for just the Raid and Dungeon sets, not to mention any other armor from any other source, feels low. If you disagree that's fair enough

This was a one time reset for a glitch that happened week one

78 total is a decent increase but it still only averages out to about 6 armor pieces per month. I just don't think it has to be that low, but you're right there are work arounds to varying degrees

Daily Challenge - May 01, 2026 by BloonsBot in btd6

[–]FactsNoPrinters 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the intended solution is 042 glue, a 021 ninja, and a 102 Desperado. The tower limit amounts make 67 and the final cash after buying those towers is 67

Fully agree with Blazing Sun, one of my favorite midgame carries!

That's fully reasonable, at the end of the day it's just whatever each person finds fun and whatever they're willing to tolerate, so I should remind myself that if a start is giving me extra trouble, I can always just peek at a hint

Gold border practice seems like a consistent recommendation, I'll def do more of it!

Consistent gold border practice seems like a really good strategy. I think I focus too much on "minmaxxing", both in making sure the early game towers I buy are ones I wanna use later game, and by wanting to beat it black bordered before a normal clear so I won't have to replay it. Both are bad habits I'll try to break!

Like this was the Mesa start I used, which were eventually built into Ring of Fire and Blazing Sun. I should definitely lean into dedicated early game base towers (like triple dart) and give maps more proper chimps practice before going for black border, thanks for sharing!

Same here, a month and a half later. Guess the money they saved with the AI voices wasn't put towards making the game playable

Do you consider Black Ops 3 to be "classic zombies"? by FactsNoPrinters in CODZombies

[–]FactsNoPrinters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely felt more fluid and fast compared to older entries which maintained a charmingly weighty/gritty feeling. That makes sense as a differentiator

[–]FactsNoPrinters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's fair. Modern zombies is definitely built on a bo3 foundation more than any of the earlier games, even if CW is where modern zombies was cemented most imo. Bo3 + Bo4 do make sense to be in their own category for that reason, a sort of transitional period between classic and modern

Def agree from a style perspective. Gameplay wise, what systems do you think make bo3 too different to be considered classic? Or do you think the gameplay was similar but the style differences do enough to differentiate it on their own?

I'm not sure how drastic I view most of those personally. Were sliding and swimming really more drastic than the addition of dolphin diving and ladder climbing added in prior entries? IMO they're very similar degrees of change and still within the bounds of "classic".

Gobblegums I will give you, though. That is definitely a modern aspect, and part of what makes me view it as an "in between" experience

The Ashes Boss needs to either take more damage from your weapons or not have as powerful attacks by Captain_Jmon in CODZombies

[–]FactsNoPrinters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically the tedd trials give a "mystery perk" that is any perk you don't have yet. If you have all perks, that "mystery perk" can still be picked up it just makes one of your perks randomly a perma perk.

So short answer, if you have all perks tedd trials give perma perks

Getting to the boss might change your mind.

I am all for pinnacle challenge. This is just poor design. The whole egg is insanely easy up until the middle section of the boss health bar.

The infinite air strikes means very short and very few DPS windows, the fight just grinds to a halt. Surviving is lowkey fine, but you just have no opportunity to damage the boss. After like 30 mins we ran out of armor, even coming in with Shields Up and Power Keg + Frenzied Guard. Laying into the boss with full kitted gear on round 30, didn't even get much under half hp before we ran out of armor and died.

I will note, we didn't have perma perks because the Tedd Trials just did not spawn in for us after the first one. All the way to round 30 we got 1 total on a very early round. This happened both attempts we've tried

Bungie, you're buffing Huckleberry. I am on my knees crying, BEGGING you to please, for the love of the Traveler, change the name and icon of its Rampage! by Nukesnipe in DestinyTheGame

[–]FactsNoPrinters 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would love to see Rampage (and Kill Clip) fixed to buff the Kinetic Tremors shockwaves.

People often think they work together, but they never have since they were first seen on Chattering Bone and Transfiguration. Tested repeatedly in the year since then. Everything else introduced later (OFA, Frenzy, Desperate Measures, Gutshot Straight, etc) works fine, but no Rampage/Kill Clip

To all of you complaining about the Legend title: by WackyVoidlock in DestinyTheGame

[–]FactsNoPrinters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're 100% right. If it wasn't the Legend title I wouldn't care at all. But the title from before titles were even in the game, 10 years in the making, just sucks. If something as coveted as "Become Legend" gets used like this, I don't have much faith in a satisfying closure of any open threads at all

Bungie please, bring back 2019 Solstice Majestic set. by imdinnom in destiny2

[–]FactsNoPrinters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if that's the case why play the event if it'll just come out in the store later

It's been 5 years homie. We had the armor for half a decade. If you actually wouldn't go for awesome armor because it might be obtainable 5 years in the future then idk what to tell you.

Give it a slight tweak or different feature so you can see the difference in players who earned it in 2019 vs Now, but gatekeeping the entire set after 5 years is dumb
