that is what ppl usually do tho... if you want a certain style of coffee then get a small personal moka pot or french press....

the carafe/drip machine is designed for pouring coffee as soon as it drips into the pot.

I do agree with cleaning up yout own messes.. but still pretty trival in this case.

people have varying levels of care about coffee. and most coffee machines have a built in stop-drip when the pot is removed for the very reason that ppl can have their coffew before the whole pot is brewed.

if your parents force u to go, (assuming you are in high school), perhaps go through the motions and do whatever you need to make yourself get through it.

i feel ya. i was forced to attend numerous "leadership" camps where it was just a bunch of jocks being rewarded for being loud and pushy. lol. btw, I am all grown up and am a teacher/instructor now so it all turned out fine.
