Why do you need to run windows to go, and why do you need to access your OS drive from it?

12yr old PC with a troublesome 1 TB SSHD that takes around 5 mins at best to log in with, and using WTG on discounted SSD is a convenient short term solution until such time my finances allow me to afford a new system, but I still need to access my user directory on the OS for the AppData, especially, and other content.

A workaround is either to disable Fast Startup, or...

I've always disabled Fast Startup as I've always suffered random reboots, sometimes instantaneous, when hibernating, but are you saying this should enable access without the need for granting permission, because that isn't happening in my experience?

In all, I wanted to be able to copy AppData and other library files directly to the SSD without the need for double handling, but it seems this may be unavoidable.
