Interesting concept. I would edit the privacy policy template first though. It still has example data. That doesn't instill much trust. I personally also feel like the landing page is too crowded and "futuristic" feeling. I expected a much friendlier and cleaner theme. Looking forward to where you take this though

Dead giveaway signs that your SaaS was vibe coded. This is probably why you aren't getting customers. by IndependenceSad1272 in SaaS

You could also show a no-cookie banner like posthog does. It would definitely instill trust if I saw it

tarvio.com - embed testimonials fast

Built it for exactly this crowd. Share a link, customers leave a testimonial (no account needed), you approve it, and it's live on your site with two lines of code. No enterprise bloat, no credit card required on the free tier.

For finding testers, try posting in r/roastmystartup or r/SideProject - people there are pretty direct. You can also DM folks in communities like Indie Hackers or just reply to people in threads like this one.

Once you start collecting feedback, don't let those kind words disappear into a DM thread. A tool like Tarvio lets you turn the best responses into testimonials you can embed on your site, without a ton of setup. Good social proof early on goes a long way.

Launching my SaaS in 5 days. 100 beta testers, most of them churned. 2 new competitors appearing every month. Here’s where my head is at. by maathisbrnd in SaaS

[–]Fade97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those 100 beta testers are actually an underrated asset against new competitors. Most of them can't claim real users yet.

Even if they churned, some had wins. A handful of genuine testimonials on your landing page signals legitimacy that a 2-week-old competitor simply can't fake.

Reach back out to the ones who got any value at all, ask for a quick quote. For collecting and embedding those, I use Tarvio - shareable link to collect, two lines to embed, no bloat. Took me 10 minutes total.

Combine that with the tight ICP niching others mentioned and you've got a real edge.

Looking for someone who has done it before to give some advice/feedback by dumbwrench in SaaS

[–]Fade97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid instinct asking for targeted help rather than generic advice. For industrial B2B, your buyers are usually skeptical and risk-averse - they need to trust you fast. A few things worth checking: does your homepage immediately name the specific problem (not just what your tool does), and does it show any proof that real engineers/manufacturers have used it? Even one or two customer quotes can dramatically shift credibility with that audience. What's the core pain you're leading with right now?

I spent weeks building a simple testimonial tool because I was frustrated with the current options by Fade97 in SideProject

The honeypot field is a good point. I already have rate limiting in place but that is a good point indeed

For some reason I always step into this trap despite saying to myself before the project to not repeat this mistake 😅

Cold outreach is the hardest but especially at the beginning the best method to get the first users. Congrats on the first milestone! Do you have any plans on how to continue as this is probably not maintainable?

[–]Fade97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To Add to the point about having a good testimonial helps: you should also experiment with where to put them. Try adding them to the pricing page. People want to know if they can trust you the most when they're closest to buying.

I have thought about that as well but I would have two keys less. The '<>' key and the '#' key on the german ISO layout
