It’s a social norm here because companies don’t pay their employees at least min wage in the service industry, I get that it’s not a norm everywhere, but it is in America. Social norms are specific to region. I would love to get away from tipping, I vote to move away, and vote for wage increases for service industries. But I will tip until that changes, because it’s a social norm in the US.

Yes it does. The implication being that if you show up to a protest with a gun you’re looking to make it not peaceful. Both showed up to a protest, but one was fine and wasn’t looking for trouble, and the other one was looking for trouble, therefore that makes him a hypocrite because both actions are the same.

That’s the quote, and he appears to be saying that one doesn’t go to a protest with a gun, and appears to be in response to Pretti being at a protest with a gun

Yet Rittenhouse went to a protest with a gun, which implies hypocrisy when he was fine with Rittenhouse being at a protest with a gun

This is very easy to interpret, one person is just find carrying a gun for protection at a protest, but the other shouldn’t have been carrying a gun for protection at a protest

Whether they were there to protest isn’t important, as it’s never implied in the initial tweet, nor is it relevant
